I have been searching to try to find out when Sutton is leaving Young Frankenstein. I thought there was an article a while ago, but I can't find anything. Thanks for any help!
There are plenty of threads about this already, but since I'm not a total jerk, I'll help you out anyway; Sutton is expected to leave in July. We don't know exactly when. She's starting rehearsals for SHREK.
Hmm, well they brought Angie Schworer in to fill in for Amy Heggins during her leave but its the first i've heard of her replacing Sutton. She isn't even her understudy.
I feel very fortunate to have seen her this weekend in YF. She was wonderful. In fact, I loved the show! I had mixed emotions going in as I had heard mixed reviews. Well, it was really fantastic. I reccommend it.

Popular, thanks for setting the record straight. I'm curious to where Jared gets his info, because it isn't the first time he's been wrong. I'm looking forward to her performance, she looks the part really well, lets just hope she can sing it too. 2 new cast members starting on the same day, isn't that exciting!
I saw a production of Minnie's Boys at the York last night and an actress in the production named Kelly Sullivan (who was in Contact and Bells Are Ringing on Broadway) wrote in her bio that she will be playing Inga in Young Frankenstein in July. She was a very pretty blonde.
whoops sorry about that guys i typed in the wrong name by mistake. i had just read something about angie at the time of this post and accidentally posted the wrong name. so sorry.
I find it quite beguiling and disappointing that a relatively unknown name by even theatre circles is being cast as Inga. Granted, the role doesn't require the high-caliber star power name of someone like Sutton, but even Cady Huffman or Angie would've been more of a recognizable actress. I'm not advocating that unknowns don't star in anything, but seeing that this show is going to need any extra nudge it can net at this point between the Tony nod snubs and Megan's announced departure, wouldn't a bigger name have seemed more logical?
...And so, there I was at the stage door for "Equus". The enthused avalanche of "Harry Potter" fans was literally pushing me into the barricades. As I was thrust face-first into Daniel Radcliffe's hat, I suddenly felt the thumb of a lanky gentleman behind me pressing firmly into my back. It was then that I realized that both of his hands had Playbills, and that both arms were outstretched in front of me...
