Todrick is interacting with someone who called out his past behaviors on BroadwayWorld’s Instagram post about him choreographing London’s Burlesque. He took accountability but said that when a “known racist” made their Broadway debut a few months ago, the comment section didn’t look as brutal as it does for him. Who is said racist?

God...who cares? Todrick is a liar and a drama queen. Foolish to believe a single word that comes from his mouth.
Am i supposed to know who this todrick is?

You are so lucky you don’t know who he is. Please keep it that way.
He's referring to the dog who understudies Chowsie in Gypsy, who is a former Proud Boy and has fascist tattoos under his fur. The producers have really kept it hush-hush because it would really put a damper on the historic nature of the production.
jk this would require there actually being an individual he's referencing and not a hypothetical pulled out of the air to serve a deflection.

100% this.
The most iconic superhero actor of the last twenty years supposedly had ties, not to MAGA/Republicans, but to the libertarian fringe (he was long rumored to write the Crazy Days and Nights blog, and was even an early suspect of being Q). My guess is Todrick is assuming that if this recent Broadway star is even remotely on the right he's an avowed, out-and-proud racist.
We've never had any reason to suspect that to be the case, thankfully.
Why is he still relevant.
He's super annoying but his Beauty and the Beast parodies had me howling back in the day
Didn’t realize, but he’s choreographer AND director of Burlesque. I’m assuming the show is looking to eventually transfer, so it’s interesting that they chose someone so polarizing.
Honestly surprised Todrick still has a career.
The Burlesque producers should reconsider for him as the director/choreographer.
When he was was at Sunset BLVD he seemed very excited to go backstage to the point where I don't think a row near him wasn't aware of that fact.

Makes sense as he emits a lot of theater kid energy - the good and bad.

He has a few songs in the show with others like Aguilera etc. He was IN the show originally. Not sure why the original, more qualified, director left. The book writer is also the producer....
