Would Cher be eligible for a Tony for The Cher Show?
She already has an Oscar, Emmy and Grammys. How cool would it be to see her ‘inducted’ into the EGOT club at the Tonys?!
Bette would have done that if she had won for The Rose. Dolly would have if she had won for ‘9 to 5’ and not gotten robbed the year ‘It’s Hard Out There For a Pimp’ won the Oscar.
I know, I know... woulda, coulda, shoulda. Just cool to recognize and celebrate the incredible careers of these fine ladies all now in their early 70s.

Does Cher have any official attachment to the show in any capacity, much less one that can be Tony nominated?

Yes. Cher is one of the 3 producers of THE CHER SHOW.
If the show wins the Tony Award for Best Musical, then Cher would indeed have a Tony Award.

I think The Prom might have something to say about that.

^This. Also, Hadestown could very much transfer this season after it's London run (same with the Temptations musical.)

I would love if she came back to the stage in an original play, but that's just this gay man's extremely wishful thinking.
As for The Cher Show winning, not gonna lie - it is possible. But they seriously need to work on the book to give her character(s) more dimension. I saw the matinee today and it really feels like she kept asking people in her what to do or had everyone tell her. That's not the only Cher we know - she does things because she's Cher and trusts her opinions (in fact, she does things specifically to f*ck with establishment). Her actual solo career, her numerous affairs, her sensationalizing nature, and her actual relationship with rock music has been totally removed from the show. She had parallel tracks in her life playing alongside what's on stage which would make for a more dramatic story. It is still very entertaining and much better than most other jukebox musicals, but it is misuse of such a rich and compelling character.
