The boy who did it de-activated his Youtube Account a short while after You May Now Worship Me (Everday Rapture) was first performed (the one night only edition).
This boy (played by Eamon Foley) posted a video of himself performing "My Strongest Suit" on YouTube and Sherrie contacted him. Long story short... he and Sherrie went back and forth cause he did not believe it was really her and kept asking for proof.

No, it was a boy in his bedroom lip-synching to the CD. He's wearing a blue plaid shirt, and then during the dance break he makes a quick change into a red plaid shirt. They include the plaid shirts and a few of his choreographic moves in the show.
Did she ever give him proof? What did she originally comment?
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

CapnHook, if I remember the scene correctly from the Second Stage production of Everyday Rapture, Scott at first tried to give the boy proof but he still didn't believe her. He had asked for things like pictures of her and Idina Menzel etc. She jokingly commented in the show something along the lines of Menzel replaced her in Aida so therefor she must be in contact with her and good friends with her.
"If you try to shag my husband while I am still alive, I will shove the art of motorcycle maintenance up your rancid little Cu**. That's a good dear"
Tom Stoppard's Rock N Roll
He asks for (1) Snapshot photos of Sherie doing his moves with his video next to the computer screen then (2) A picture with Idina Menzel backstage at Wicked. Even after she provides him with the "snapshot photos of you doing me" he does not believe her so she then sends his the picture with the woman who was then playing Elphaba in Wicked. He still doesn't believe she is who she says she is.
I wonder, however, how much of this is true. I also hope that he didn't take his videos down because of her segment in Everyday Rapture.

which is crazy cause he would have gotten so many more hits on the video than ever because everyone would want to see him.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
