Wake up early. We'll leave our hotel no later than 7. Take the subway to the World Trade Center Memorial. Then, walk down Wall Street and go to Battery Park for a look at the Statue of Liberty. Then, we'll take the subway to SoHo, and continue our day.
Should we still take the same subway as stated before on my last itinerary from Battery Park to SoHo?
I'll just put all three different routes to SoHo (from Ground Zero, from Wall Street, and from Battery Park) on my itinerary. So, we'll just have option depending on where we go first.
I don't have my subway map handy right now. Make sure you get your free copy from a token booth clerk. There are lots of subways stopping in the vicinity, so you'll have no problem getting back to SoHo. Your itinerary is good but it involves a lot of walking. But if you are all up to it, there is a lot to see along the way. Make sure you see the "Charging Bull" statue in front of Battery Park. It's located here:
Okay. Here it is. Hopefully, this is the last one. If you could just take a look at my subway stations I have laid out and give me some feedback, that'd be fabulous. Thursday morning has been reworked, and Friday's departure is added.

You're walking from the theatre on 48th/Bway all the way east to Rock Ctr (6th Ave) in order to backtrack and catch the train west to Columbus Circle (8th Ave)? Why not just walk, or why not take the 1 train from 50th St to Columbus Circle (which is only one stop, which again asks the question why not just walk?)
(Unless I'm remembering wrong, and Columbus Circle isn't the stop near your hotel- in which case ignore everything I just said).
Does A train stop anywhere near WTC ? Don't you have to change to E at Canal St. ? And, yes, I would walk around that area at 11 PM and have done so on many occasions - it's as safe as taking a subway at that time. I am with the previous poster - I would walk from the theater to the hotel. It's a short walk.
So, instead of going up to 59th st. station, you can walk down to 50th st. station and catch the E train from there. It will take you straight down to WTC.
