I was not a huge fan myself, but people have been saying it got better than in previews. A quick way to see what Brantley thought of it is this site I really like called www.didhelikeit.com I think the Country Girl review is up on there too. Personally, I really had a lot of problems with the show and am glad I saw it without paying for it.
It has its longueurs, but is definitely worth it for the choreography and the dancers, some of the lyrics, and supporting performances. I found it pretty easy to sit through. Those that would categorize it as an epic horror have not been around long enough.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

The cast is great as is the choreography; however, the show is forgettable. The second act is definitely more fun and moves quicker than Act I. I'd go see it again just to see Spencer shirtless. Wow.
Have you been in a hole sally? I've heard nothing but NEGATIVE things!
He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

Yeah. Smaxie is right, as is Mr. Roxy. I also concur with n69n, bwayguy22089, and bertandrew2. The show was very good, funny, and cute. It does have its miss moments, but overall, it looked like a hit to me. Looked to me like the kind of thing that the SNL guys would make up, in a good way, with me being such a big SNL fan and all. It is totally worth it.
