sorry, the actor's name escapes me, and the Spring Awakening website has not been updated I'm really curious to see a pic of the new guy (especially to see what they do with his hair!)

Here is a pic of blake bashoff the new Moritz and me (I hope I'm posting this correctly!)This is from the show on 12/27 (I think? lol)



He does resemble John Gallagher Jr IMO. His hair in the show looks just like JGJ's.
BTW I thought he did a GREAT job - John Gallagher is a tough act to follow!

I saw him perform last month and he truly did a wonderful job! He is also very sweet at the stage door as well! He could remind you of JGJ in looks, especially with the hairpiece/wig.

I'm not sure whether or not it's a wig, he seems to have a lot of able hair...haha.

But anyway, I thought Blake was a DEAD RINGER for Johnny when I saw the show last night. It was creepy. However, Blake I feel has a more pure, less raw-sounding singing voice. Either way, he's excellent and incredibly nice in person.

it is blake's own hair. but it doesn't stand up as much as gallagher's. it sort of leans a bit!

I saw him at the evening show on 1/5 and I thought he was incredible. I was a little bit nervous because it was my first time seeing the show, and everyone is always talking about how amazing JGJ was and how nobody can ever be nearly as good as him and all of that, but I was completely wrong. His vocals were outstanding and i thought his acting was great too. His voice seems more pure and less raspy than JGJs does on the cd, something that i think i prefered. but I can't really compare him to JGJ because I've never seen him, but in my opinion he was great. He was awsome at the stage door too; it was cold and raining and only about 5 people came out and he was really nice and seemed like a great guy.

I think he's one of the others that tried to help kate and sawyer escape when they were captured. The French woman's daughter's boyfriend. He tried to warn the group about the others coming after them too. I think.
