Posted: 1/8/08 at 9:51pmNope, I saw his first performance at the matinee of August 18. Still my favorite performance of the show, to date. Truly incredible performances from all three understudies on that day (Gerard as Moritz, Jenn as Martha, Matt as Otto), and every other cast member.

I was relying on the Spring Awakening site the whole time to keep me updated when John Gallagher was leaving but clearly that was a bust. So when I saw the show I was a little rushed to get into the theatre and didnt bother looking at who would be playing who, and I thought Blake was John the whole time until I went to the stagedoor. He was really nice, and he's an AMAZING performer!!

And um...RentHead...the boards over at SA talked about Johnny's departure forever. It was pretty annoying actually.

...EVERYONE talked about Johnny's depatrure forever. Here, that creepy Guilty Ones message board, Playbill.com...I'm also astounded that Renthead didn't even look at the Playbill when they saw the show to notice that Johnny Gallagher wasn't even in it...

I am!! I seriously think I've read it about 5 or 6 times so far. There's something so addicting about it.
And I've been listening to Bare like non-stop because I'm still so happy about getting to hear Matt's amazing harmonies. I still can't get enough of him.

He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

I don't think anyone said this, but just to clarify, in "Lost" he was Carl, who is Alex's boyfriend. Alex is Ben's adopted daughter and Rousseau's biological daughter. They find Carl in that creepy room with the glasses forcing him to watch that hypnotic video. Then they take him back on the boat. Remember?
Can't wait to see him in S.A. this March!
