Inside word is that there is a battle between music networks, FUSE and MTV as to who gets to be the first to debut "Pick-A-Little/Post-A-Little"!

I for one believe it should be MTV, cause Marc Shaiman aka Croonlio would be AMAZING on TRL! I'm designing my poster for when I stand outside on the street now!

Yeah, Mr. Marc. That was real funny like. It was like a chorus of gay hobbits. I have to admit that I felt all crazy mixed up inside when you were wearing those wigs. I couldn't tell if you were a feller or a lady and part of me just didn't care. Specifically, it was the part below my belt and above my knees. And I thought Richard Speck looked hot with his pair of lady's boobies. You've got it all over him. Plus, he's dead already so there's half the fun gone out the window. It just ain't any good unless ya hear that death rattle. Now, don't make me regret lettin' ya out of yer stink hole to write that dang song. Get yer butt home, I'm fixin up some vittles for us. Marc...

Thanks to the joys of general educational core requirements, I'm currently taking math. Now this means that I'm going to have a whole entire weekend of studing a subject I have spent the vast majority of my life avoiding like the plague. (or bad 80s hair, take your pick)

Now this morning as I was sinking into the depths of despair, knowing that there was no hope, no light, and no avoiding the hideous creature 2x+y=8x, I decided to procrastinate. (go me!) In the course of my procrastination I happened upon this wonderful video, and suddenly I feel as if I can take on the world! I mean what is algebra compared to Marc Shaiman in a feather boa and big feather hat singing showtunes!

So,now I'm off with a smile on my face and a spring in my step to go crunch some numbers and listen to my Music Man cd!

Thank you Marc Shaiman from the very bottom of my extremely mathmatically disinclined heart!

Actually, Marc. After a millionth viewing under the tutilage of my keen observation, it has come to my possible attention that I was, in fact, included? please say it is so. The "gay hobbit" in the bottom left-hand corner looks somewhat like....a MONKEY? as in, the monkey of which there are nuggets? hm..yay? nay?

I know I don't post often, but I do read every day and when I saw that video at the show I was sooo glad I did and knew everyone that was being sung about. I'll add my chorus of how great it was to everyone else's and even though it would be fun to see it on a bigger venue, isn't it nicer to have it where those who really get it see it?

I didn't know so many of you were going to be there, it would've been fun to actually meet some of you. Maybe next time!! Anyone going to Mandy's on June 14th?

Now back to praising Marc. Could this video possibly be opened up into a full-length musical? Maybe start off-Broadway at a small, intimate venue. Have some puppets maybe. Get word of mouth among the hip and the edgy. Then MOVE it up town.
