They know they have to get new people in to see the show. The tourist numbers are down so they’re desperately advertising to locals in the tri state area. They also took over a basketball game in Connecticut a few months ago with wicked night

Lion King sends out mailers and puts out regular advertising campaigns. As does Chicago. This is what established brands do.
