I know many of you actors have always wanted a role in a show and have also said, I really really want to do this part:
Tell us about it.
Me= Although I am a male, I would love to be, even a voice over for Ursula in The Little Mermaid. I love her character and that song "poor unfortunate soul"
Actually, there are alot of female role I would like to attempt like:
Addapearl (The Wiz)
Wicked Witch of West (Wizard of Oz)
Witch (Into the Woods)
I guess I like Witches
Male roles:
Frank-n-furtur (Rocky Horror)
Riff-Raff (Rocky Horror)
Scarecrow (Wizard of Oz)
Applegate (Damn Yankees)
Symore (Little Shop)
Baker (Into the woods)
I am actually auditioning for Into the woods
next week, so maybe this role will be on my DONE list!

Update:
Nov 3, 2004
I was casted as RUPPUNZEL'S PRINCE in INTO THE WOODS
so the BAKER is still a role I want!

I'm 99% sure this has been covered in here, but only because I'm vain.
Miss Hannigan from ANNIE
Maureen from RENT
And if I had a penis --
Roger from RENT
Seymour from LITTLE SHOP

It has, but just for fun:
Frl. Kost in Cabaret
Millie and Miss. Flanery in TMM
Daisy in Side Show
And someone (I don't care who) in A Chorus Line
cathy in the last five years, belle in BATB, or Sarah in Dance of the Vampires
I would so like to be Sancho in man of La Mancha. I just really like the character: the perfect sidekick ... never usurps the star but can still steal the show...
I would like to be Mark or Roger's mom as well as the roles that go along with those tracks in 'Rent'
Nessa in 'Wicked'
One of the Urchins in 'LSoH'
Anyone in 'Chicago', 'The Lion King' 'Aida' or 'Into the Woods'
really good timing for this post as i just got one of my dremroles yesterday!

John/James in Love!, Valour!, Compassion!
Captain Hook in Peter Pan
Henry Higgins
Strong, yet troubled female roles really appeal to me... The Baker's Wife from ITW, Belle, Eponine.
There's such a long list, and I'm not even including my straight play dream roles, but here are the highlights:
Sweeney in "Sweeney Todd" (you can tell from my icon)
Javert in "Les Miserables"
Jekyll/Hyde in "Jekyll and Hyde"
Booth in "Assassins"
Rutledge in "1776"
Molina in "Kiss of the Spider Woman"
Fred/Petruchio in "Kiss Me Kate"
As you can see, I'm drawn to the darker characters! There are tons more, but these are the ones I want most. I'm also excluding roles I know I could never play or wouldn't be right for, i.e. The Phantom, which is too high for me.
Oh, of course! I forgot Henry Higgins in "My Fair Lady" and Harold Hill in "The Music Man"
Ditto!~
