Hopefully she means that through humbleness and not that she is bad. :p
I expect she will be fine though, Lily James isn't a singer but she sings well in the Cinderella credits Disney have good vocal coaches and music producers to fix everything .

I'm hearing it will feature most of the Broadway score.
After hearing both lily James' 'A Dream is A wish' and Helena's 'Bibbidi' I think they should have made the film a musical and feature those songs.
Beauty and The Beast will be amazing. I hope it looks like the recent french film.

Josh Gad is a good choice for LeFou. I'm interested who they get to play Lumiere and Cogsworth.
How about Jean Dujardin as Lumiere and Jim Broadbent as Cogsworth?

^I did think Jean Dujarin for Lumiere, Jim Broadbent would be good for the role or perhaps Hugh Bonneville?

^ I thought about Hugh Bonneville, too!
Interesting that Bonneville played the younger version of Broadbent's character in "Iris."
Has it been revealed how the objects are going to be portrayed in the film? Is it telling that only the 'human' (and beast) cast has been released?
Emma Thompson is Mrs. Potts.
Although I'm curious how they'll do it, too.
^Thompson hasn't been confirmed yet, has she?

Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, (maybe) Emma Thompson? Such an incredible cast so far and I'm sure more exciting casting announcements will round out an already amazing cast.

I wonder if they will use motion capture for the CGI characters...
You know I've been on the outside looking in on this. People were announced for it, oh that's nice. I had no idea this was going to be an adaptation of the musical, I am god damn moons over my hammy now!
Looks like Emma Thompson will be Mrs. Potts and Kevin Kline will be Maurice.
I have to admit I didn't peg Kline as the Maurice type. Maurice doesn't do any singing or dancing, does he? I'd think Kline would be a much better Lumiere...
Emma Thompson is OFFICIALLY Mrs. Potts and Kevin Kline is Maurice!

I thought Kline would play Lumiere, surprised he is playing Maurice instead. Maybe there's still hope for Jean Dujardin as Lumiere? He'd be terrific. Love the idea of Emma Thompson as Mrs. Pott, though sad we won't get to see her in person (guessing there'll be lots of CGI/motion capture involved), can you imagine what a genius Belle she'd have been years ago?

Just want to note that the press release Disney sent out mentions Menken will score the film, it will feature the songs from the original film, and include "new songs written by Menken and Sir Tim Rice" which is a fancy way of saying the Broadway score...
Hopefully people can stop claiming they're hiding the fact that it's a musical.

I hope it's true to the Broadway version and doesn't try to adhere more to the animated version.
Spring releases seem to be working for Disney when it comes to these live-adaptions.
My ears are f**king ready for Emma Thompson's rendition of Beauty and the Beast!

It seems like more of a Christmas day release to me. There's going to be something weird about seeing a big budget musical in March.
