Any hint yet of when tickets go on sale to LCT members?

Although everyone believes (or knows) she has been cast, there has been no official announcement of the casting of MFL. Television or otherwise."
Not even "TV 3"? That comment gave me a sorely needed laugh this morning.

For what it's worth, Shaw hated the ending tacked on to his play for the film adaptation (the same ending later used in the musical). He felt that it implied a romantic relationship wanted by audiences who totally misunderstood the play. He wrote a "sequel" (really more of a "where are they now" ) in which he outlines what he thinks is self-evident about the characters' fates: http://www.bartleby.com/138/6.html

Most likely in the middle of October, if they follow sales dates for previous, spring productions.
It was announced on On Stage a program on NY1 about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I am surprised Smidge missed it.
Ambrose was announced on the news a little while back. LCT just hasn't released an official press release stating that she's been cast yet, but she definitely has been cast.

People, people!!! There has been NO ANNOUNCEMENT. All we've heard and seen is speculation, from various media outlets. Until the producing, artistic director of LCT ( Andre Bishop) releases that information, it's all hearsay.

Just to prevent further confusion: Frank DiLella and On Stage are not the news.

*Edit: Theatre "News"
I've heard from several reliable sources that it's Ambrose. Everyone seems to know about it. It's not like it's a very well kept secret. LCT may not have made an official announcement, but I'm 99% positive that I'm right, especially after On Stage basically "announced" it on accident.

Be that as it may, it's still not official. Personally, I hope it's true.
I've been following this on and off for a while, and when I saw the name "Ken Wantanabe" I thought someone was suggesting him for Higgins!!! Pretty funny.
Eliza is not really a soprano part, it's more a mezzo with a few high notes. And I don't believe that Sher would cast Ambrose if she couldn't sing it. While I didn't love SOUTH PACIFIC or Kelli (loved Szot), I did love THE KING AND I (but not with Kelli, way better with Marin Mazzie).
Many of the Higgins suggestions are intriguing (Peter Dinklage is my fave), cannot wait to hear this damned announcement!

So for all of you with reliable sources, have you heard anything about the rest of the cast? Freddy? Pickering? Mrs. Higgins? Any standbys maybe?
I'm sure a lot of those roles are all up in the air until Eliza/Higgins are 100% finalized. Especially roles like Mrs. Higgins (which would be pretty different with a 40-year-old Henry vs a 60-year-old Henry) or Freddy (25-y/o Eliza vs 40-y/o Lauren Ambrose).
Though if Danny Burstein ISN'T cast as Alfie, I think there are going to be a lot of upset people.
Victoria Clarke for Mrs. Pierce? Or is that role too small?
I would kill for Gavin Creel to play Freddy. If Ambrose is cast, Gavin is 41, so basically they're the same age. I doubt it, since he did extend with Dolly (I'm guessing Kate and him leave in July), but I'd love to see him in regional productions or even as a replacement.

Take all the comments from people with "reliable sources" with a grain of salt. I realise that sounds a bit rude, but personal experience has shown me, that more often than not, the "sources" are simply expressing what they think they know, or what they'd like to see. I'm well acquainted with Bart Sher, and trust me, I know nothing.

Yea Ben&Kate extended 6 months from what I've heard as Bernadette is doing 6 months!

You've just described the dramatic tension of the show.
I don't know if there's any chance of Bryce Pinkham playing Freddie, but I'd dearly love that. When I heard he was playing the role in Chicago, I thought that was perfect casting.

Another week begins, and still not a peep from LCT. Sigh......
But then they ... don't ...get together? So it all seems to fizzle for me.

Not really, just because it's "Mezzo" in terms of range, doesn't mean it's a mezzo role. The vocal timbre/color that it was originally written (aka Queen Julie) and has needed and required since day one has been soprano. Even in opera, the Mozart "ina" roles are mean for sopranos, as they're soubrettes mean for the timbre of a soprano, even though none of those roles are particularly rangy.
And Dinklage...I CAN'T UNSEE HIM AS HIGGINS NOW. I NEED IT!
It sounds like finalizing casting for LCT has been a bigger challenge than expected, but I also bet they feel like the biggest draw for MY FAIR LADY is the title. This isn't a property like FUNNY GIRL where the majority of ticket buyers are going to wait to see who is headlining before hitting the box office. There are lots of LCT members who will be happy to see a Bart Sher directed revival of one of the greatest musicals ever written, in its first Broadway revival in over 20 years, regardless of who is playing Higgins and Eliza.
There is definite genius in a Dinklage HH..
And I can easily imagine his bringing an audience to tears of joy with "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face."
