I have yet to see it, but from what people are reporting, I would be surpised if James Snyder is even nominated
I would be utterly shocked if Cry-Baby even gets a nomination for Best Musical.
completely off topic, but do you happen to have any more pics of the Sunday set, wonderfulwizard?
The website I found them on has unfortunately removed them, but there are still some pictures.

Is everyone forgetting young frankenstein's ladies!? I know that Laura Benanti did a fantasic job and probably will win, but don't count out Sutton Foster, Megan Mullally or Andrea Martin as nominees and possible winners.

OOPS! I meant 2 put Gypsy in there! Sorry I'll change it!
It's ok, haha. I though that was a mistake.
revivalmark1, do you really think both Young Frankenstein AND Little Mermaid, will be nominated over Passing Strange??
Did you forget Passing Strange completely while doing this?
revivalmark, sorry brother, but...eek.

I think Danny Troob/Mermaid deserves Best Orchestration.
I hope "South Pacific" gets the recognition it deserves, at least in the way of nominations. I've never liked the show before, and while it is still a deeply flawed work, this production and cast really helped me to appreciate the show in an entirely new and wonderful way. I'd love to see O'Hara, Szot, Burstein, and Ables Sayre all score nominations.
Thast being said, I hope "Sunday" WINS every award it is nominated for. The show was an overwhelming theatrical experience.
revivalmark - I agree with you on some parts, but I don't think YF and The Little Mermaid will be nominated over Passing Strange, and (sorry guys!) I can NOT imagine that Xanadu will win for choreography.
I think In the Heights will win choreography-but I do think Xanadu's choreography is excellent. It serves its purpose in the piece and is executed very well.
I definitely am hoping for a nom for Andrea Burns and Olga Merediz! I am pulling for Merediz to win.
At this point, In the Heights is the clear winner for Best Musical.
The people on this board have certain preferences that are not necessarily that of the voters. For instance, Grey Gardens v. Spring Awakening. Everyone knew that SA was the Best Musical and Best Score of the season, but a lot of the people that write on these boards were pissed that Grey Gardens lost.
I think In the Heights will win choreography-but I do think Xanadu's choreography is excellent. It serves its purpose in the piece and is executed very well.
Oh don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Xanadu's choreography. As you said, it serves its purpose and is very well done. I just can't picture it winning.
I definitely am hoping for a nom for Andrea Burns and Olga Merediz! I am pulling for Merediz to win.
Andrea Burns being nominated would be pretty freaking fantastic.
I think Sunday in the Park will definitely take best revival, and best lighting/set design. I know I'm in the minority, but I can see Jenna Russell possibly taking best actress from LuPone.
I'd rather see Mandy Gonzalez nominated than Andrea Burns.
And if either of them were to be nominated, it would probably be Gonzalez anyway (which would be great, too).
I change my vote for Best Musical to IN THE HEIGHTS
I know I'm in the minority, but I can see Jenna Russell possibly taking best actress from LuPone.
Well then, I'll join the minority and say it's a distinct possibility that Jenna Russell could snag the Tony.
I do think South Pacific will get revival.
By the way, Mandy Gonzalez is leading actress, not featured.
