No one wants to see a musical called Thoroughly Modern Mildred.

"Oh god, I could maybe deceive people into thinking my AGE is 22, but not the last 2 digits of my birth year! I'm not Arthur Laurents, ya know."

Okay, then what's the 22 mean? Oh, and if Arthur Laurents is 93, he was born in about 1916, not 1922.

Oh, and Drunk Chita Rivera, you might be happy to know that I am younger than you--I'm going into 8th grade. Yay, homework!

This thread is making me feel very old, and I'm turning all of 26 in two weeks.

You all could be in my class.

"This thread is making me feel very old, and I'm turning all of 26 in two weeks.

Aw, don't feel old. At least you're old enough to be able to go to NYC by yourself (although it may be expensive) without making it a big family vacation seeing Disney shows. Although when my family went to NYC we saw... well, just read my signature to see what shows I've seen on Broadway.

Oh, and about "You all could be in my class", I hope not. No offense if you're a teacher, but my two worst teachers ever were 25 and 27. Yes, they got that off-topic that I know their ages. And the then-27-year-old's birthday because we celebrated hers because it was pi-day (3/14, like 3.14) so she brought pie for us. Only about 2/3 of the class liked pie. She really only brought it for herself.

I go into the city by my self every day. I'm so glad I don't have to go on a big family vacation to get on a bus.

Yeah, staying on topic just didn't work for this thread.

How does a 14 year old afford to go into the city every day?

I'm turning 25 in 3 weeks and I'm feeling older and older the more posts I read.

When this thread becomes 5 pages long, I'm sure I'll be about 50, at the least.

DrunkChitaRivera could possibly live in one of the other NYC boroughs and have easy access to Manhattan. I say this having no clue of transportation costs, so please excuse me if I come off to be rather dumb.

I'd want a bunch of Hello Dolly songs: Put On Your Sunday Clothes, Before the Parade Passes By, and then finish with...So Long Dearie.

Hope the last one will bring a smile to the crowd....and yes, there will be a crowd.

I do the same. I live just out of the city and go all the time. Hop on a train! =]

Umm, I'm 23 and this thread makes ME feel old. Reminds me of the day my students told me that they were too young to know what PULP FICTION was.

And yes, it'd have been nice to stay on topic.

I'm 23, and nothing was more shocking (for me) than being told that I was old for having seen "The Little Mermaid" in the movie theatre.

And, on topic, I want "What I Did For Love" followed by "Over the Rainbow"

haha, husk! The Little Mermaid is the first movie I remember seeing in the movie theater. (I'm 23, too.)

I'm surprised nobody has said "Light" from N2N - I think it would be heartbreaking at a funeral, but poignant.

I thought the Curtains song was quite clever. I think if the deceased had a good sense of humor, it would be quite appropriate.
