The reason I thought they would be priced the same as the ones in the Playbill store was because there was no mention of a different price in the article.
Heh, I was figuring the lack of price mention meant it was going to be high. But sweet, good to know they are affordable. I think I'm going to go get one this weekend. Hopefully there will be some left. Did you get to choose, or how does that work? Since obviously you aren't able to go through 250+ of them.
That's an amazing idea! Good for them. I won't be in the city for a few weeks....I'm doubting there will be any left!

So, I have to get tickets in order to buy one? I've already seen the damn show twice. I just want a bag.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
I've never heard of someone be turned away when they say they just want to purchase merchandise. (Any show)

I approached one of the suited security guards outside of the theatre and he escorted me inside to the merchandise booth. This was about half an hour before today's matinee and I was only allowed to choose between three bags for whatever reason. The merchandise girl said that was all she had left, which didn't make any sense considering that I was one of the first people there. She must have been referring to other tote bags that hadn't been unboxed, etc. The bags are $35 each.
I'm going to be in the city and I may have to take a detour to buy one of these...does anyone know what time they'd let me in to buy one if I'm not seeing the show?
