Rebecca Hall as Roxanne?

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Brian F. O'Byrne? Dennis O'Hare? Victor Garber? Billy Crudup?

This is very strange... Don't know who I would want to see. Bring back Kevin Kline.

I second what was said about bringing in THE ICEMAN COMETH.

I'd gladly sit through Kevin Kline's CYRANO again if he had a real director guiding him through it this time!

I fondly remember Christopher Plummer in a Cyrano musical

While we are at it why not Man of La Mancha and Guys and Dolls and every other show revived to death.

Ah that's right. But you and your family used to own a lot of black ones back in the day, though.

My family couldn't afford black kettles. Roxy's family owned a few. They used to put line them up on their porch every Sunday afternoon and spit tobacco juice in them. It wasn't very nice.

Roxy used to say something about "ownership" but I never understood what that meant.

A bit below the belt with that last remark Dolly. I am surprised that came from you. Well I guess senility is creeping up on you.

I suppose there's nothing inherently wrong in reviving CYRANO after that rather watery, unromantic production four years ago.

The question of course is, who is Cyrano? And, maybe even more importantly, who is directing? I can't imagine the Roundabout would be so thick as to pump the considerable amount of cash it takes to mount this huge thing without a lead.

Mark Rylance, anyone?

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Mark Rylance will be in TWELFTH NIGHT/RICHARD III on the West End at the time of this production. That is an interesting casting choice though.

I could see David Hyde Pierce doing it.
