Since there are so many revivals coming in this season, which other shows would you love to see come back to broadway? I would love to see singin in the rain and patti lupone in hello dolly!!!
City of Angels - it's a great show and deserves a revival
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
I second the vote for The Wiz. It's too bad the production 5 or so years back at La Jolla Playhouse didn't make it to Broadway. Thought that was amazing.
LONDON ROAD and LONDON ROAD and LONDON ROAD. (Not a revival, of course, but the thread headline doesn't specify revivals.) Updated On: 8/8/14 at 05:54 PM
I missed Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, but I love the score. I don't know if it would really work in a traditional Broadway house, but I would love for it to transfer so that I could see it live.
LONDON ROAD is a gamble. It's a beautiful, amazing, innovative musical with an incredible score... but it'll be one of those tough sells. I saw the Canadian premiere a few times and it blew me away even more each time, but I feel like it's going to alienate a lot of people. It's for serious theatre-goers only.
