I saw it Friday night (tons of fun) and he was great. He was also very nice at stage door and chatted with my daughters about dancing. He noticed my youngest daughter's Broadway Dance Center bag.
Just saw Aladdin yesterday afternoon, and Iglehart stole the show. You can really tell he loves what he is doing, and he gave 110% in his performance.
There was an article in the Showbill about him, and he was describing just how much he enjoys his job that even if he is feeling tired or a little under the weather, he'll still go on.
How Tony was well-deserved.

He is! I have seen Michael James Scott twice, and he is just as amazing as JMI! If you knew nothing about JMI or the role or the tonys, you could not tell the difference!
His winning a Tony Award will make no difference as to whether he extends or not. What will make the difference? The new contract being offered, whether he WANTS to continue, whether the production wants him to continue and, most often, whether he's got any other offers on the horizon.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
is Michael James Scott scheduled to be on as the Genie all week that Iglehart is out??
