"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Lots of deserving shows received little or no (major) nominations...The Americans, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Getting On come to mind immediately, in addition to Orphan Black.

I think The Good Wife should win in every category it's nominated in, and I'm especially rooting for Christine Baranski and Josh Charles. I think perhaps Robin Wright could beat Julianna.
Julia Louis Dreyfus will be a very deserving winner, I hope.
Beyoncé is not an ally. Actions speak louder than words, Mrs. Carter. #Dubai #$$$
I was shocked when The Good Wife, coming off its best season ever, didn't receive a nomination for Best Drama. I hope Anna Gunn wins for Best Supporting, her work in the last season of Breaking Bad was absolutely brilliant. I also hope Josh Charles wins, it would be a wonderful farewell to a fantastic character.
The Emmys are everything that the Oscars are not. There are always a handful of surprise winners, which makes predicting so damn difficult. They are usually my favorite awards show for that specific reason.
Hoping to see Dreyfus or Schilling take Comedy Actress, and I would love to see Wright win for House of Cards. Anyone in that category is deserving, minus Washington.
I hope Orange is the New Black has a big night. I went in to that show with such low expectations - not being a fan of Weeds - and was blown away by both the sharp, clever writing and incredible ensemble cast of women who probably rarely get material this strong.
I also wish Romy Rosemont would have received a guest actress nom for Glee (even through the show has gone so downhill). She should have got one for the Monteith remembrance episode.
