Anyone know about a Rush Policy? It was on TDF yesterday. Hoping it comes back

The rush policy:

I wonder how this is selling so far.
Really interested to hear what y'all think of this show. Holding off on buying a ticket just in case this is a dud.
Still torn on this show. Love Mulaney, don't like Kroll. Maybe I'll get a cheap ticket someday...

I want to see this show so bad; I just really don't want to pay Bway prices for what should be at a black box theatre full of their friends.
My daughter and I are attending tonight. Will post later our reaction
Stoked to see this next month! Been waiting forever! Lolz
I love the Kroll show, but hate nicks stand up though. While I hated mulaney, but love johns stand up.
I think Mulaney is just not funny at all. But kind of curious to see the show. But the advertisments, etc, make it look very unpolished, messy, etc.

Was at first preview tonight. I'm not a big comedy person and at first I had this -- wtf is happening moment.
I won't spoil much -- but this is easily one of the funniest shows I've ever seen on Broadway and the audience was completely losing their sh1t in a way I've never seen. I am not exaggerating.
They need to tighten some things up, but it was first preview and it's Timbers. I didn't realize he directed until I read the Playbill, which bodes well for the show. Heads up - this is not a PC show.
Will Forte from SNL also went on stage for a hilarious bit. Not sure if that was just a first preview thing.

They are trying to line up a guest for every show.
Akin to how FAME BECOMES ME was structured, the "special celebrity guest" is all part of the show. So pleased to hear AMAZING BUZZ for the FIRST PREVIEW!
Okay, okay, I gotta know, holdyourbatboy, would you say that was
...TOO MUCH TUNA?!

I thought the show was hysterical . It runs around 1 hour 48 minutes. The way they incorporate the set and gags was well done. The special guest will either be a celeb or a random audience member. Johns add lib stuff is great. The line about Shuberts had me on the floor. Easily the most I've laughed in a long time. Wasn't expecting it to be something I would like but ended up loving.
Has anyone tried the rush for this? Any details?

I'm not totally clear on the genre. Is it a stand up act? A play? a 2-man show? A Combination of the previously listed genres?
It's a two-person play. With improv peppered in. If you're at all familiar with George and Gil's.stuff, it's, at the end of the day, a side-splitting experience to be remembered. :)
I don't see any listed, so I'm assuming they don't have understudies?
They claim 30% of it is unscripted, so I doubt they would have any...

Laura Benanti was the special guest tonight, according to both parties twitters. That must've been incredible!
Just got back from tonight's show. Honestly, don't know what I saw, but I loved every minute of it! And yes, a pretty pregnant Laura Benanti was the guest and was totally along for the ride!
As for stage door, it took about 45 minutes (they came out around 9:30 together), but both could not have been any nicer! They had conversations with each and every person, took pictures, signed, etc. There were about 30 or so people there. I left after both had signed for me, but it did not look like they were in any rush to get out.
Regarding understudies, I think it's best to put in a spoiler tag, because it is a pretty funny joke in the playbill.
Their understudies are listed as Jon Hamm and John Slattery! Complete with bios on how it will be a bit complicated with Slattery also in The Front Page, and Jon Hamm's bio ending with a #blessed

Benanti didn't really get a chance to improvise much as they just had her answering their questions. Who else has been the guest besides Forte? And I didn't really care for this much, the jokes and their previous sketches are humorous, but this just goes on far too long and gets very tiresome.
Went with my daughter to the first preview. I had never head of Kroll & Mulaney and know very little about them. It was funny, but I think those who are die hard fans enjoyed it much more than I did.
It needs to be trimmed, too long! But, it was the first preview so that is to be expected.
I was familiar with Mulaney and Kroll before tonight, but not their Oh, Hello characters. Honestly, it was a weird piece and a tad long, but I would be lying if I said there wasn't one belly laugh laughter another throughout.
You could really hear their standup voices shining through, and maybe that's why the jokes were more memorable than the plot, but I liked that they poked fun at many cliches of bad playwriting and the jokes and references were very New Yorky.
Katie Couric was our guest star tonight and that segment was terrific. I want to sneak into the Lyceum every night just to see that diner scene.
I strongly recommend Oh, Hello with the caveat being if you can't stand Kroll and/or Mulaney's humor you'll be in for a long night, but I basically loved it.
