You have Bette and Glenn playing roles that Patti wanted to do. She must be praying they don't win the Tony!
Glenn won't be eligible. But now there's also the role of Dot, which Patti famously auditioned for as a replacement in the original production, but was told by Sondheim to stop the belting. Clearly she didn't get the job.

Only fanboys worry about what Patti, Glenn, and Bette think about the season.
Can we just take half a second to appreciate what a diva filled season this is? I am still not over the fact there's Patti, Glenn, AND Bette on stage at the same time.
She's thinking that she's happy she has a job on Broadway in a new musical that she's been involved with for quite some time.
And realize that for many actors, whether or not they get a Tony is not the reason they do broadway?
She thinking how she has to share a stage with a whack-job like Ebersole and is counting down the days until she can find a new job away from her.
She's thinking she wants another Tony, and wants the stage to herself!

Is Ebersole still a truther?

Although I know that she's probably happy to be back on Broadway, I couldn't help but think this as soon as I saw the first post in this thread
Patti and Christine hugged/embraced several times and expressed love for each other at the Times talk.
She discovered Laura Benanti so she's pissed that she decided to have a baby instead of treading the boards this season. She also discovered Manoel Felciano so she's mad that Darko kicked him out of Anastasia pre-Broadway.
Yeah, she's still a truther. I really hope she's not making Patti drink her batsh*t Kool-Aid.
Truther stuff aside, is there a reason to think Ebersole is difficult to work with?

A 9/11 "truther" (sic) is a person who refutes all logic and believes 9/11 was not a terrorist attack, but a US government operation. There are nuts who also think the Sandy Hook shootings never happened, and that it was all actors, to force gun control on the country. (The fact that that didn;t happen makes no difference to them)
Ebersole is big into conspiracy theories -- vaccines cause autism, the Illuminati are a secret group controling every aspect of entertainment, the government, etc.

As much as I would love for anyone to stand up and say that Christine Ebersole espouses dangerous beliefs (more the anti-vax than any conspiracy theories), I would not expect Patti to do it at a public event promoting their new musical.
