I can tell that this is going to be a fantastic season, Jujubee and Blair's reads were EVERYTHING!! Plus I'm glad that Derrick went home first, that performance just screamed lame.
I thoroughly loved it. This is my first exposure to most of the queens, other than Season 10. I really liked Jujubee. I am strangely attracted to Derick Berry. I found him quite attractive out of drag. Yvie clearly won the lip sync. Perfect song for her kooky skills. I'm surprised they don't throw some of the tip their way.
My money is on Jujubee and Shea this season, but it’ll be interesting to see how that shakes out given the social dynamics of the new rules. With All Stars, you never know.
Derrick had to go home first. There was no alternative. She came back to “prove” something and then... didn’t even bother to try. Or rather, did try, but fails to understand what separating herself from Britney means.
Yvie KILLED that lip sync. She has a very “throw spaghetti at the wall” approach, but oh how spectacularly that spaghetti flies at the wall. India gave a great, high energy performance that made watching both of them especially thrilling, but it wasn’t enough. Regardless, she chose Derrick too, so...
I’m excited about this season. Yes, there might be too much Drag Race on TV, but then I think about that fact that I subscribe to WOW Presents + on my Apple TV and when I’m not watching Drag Race, I’m often watching drag queens anyway. They’re a hell of a lot more entertaining than most things I could choose to watch, so why not oversaturate it.
Watching the episode again and I can’t believe I forgot to mention Cracker. I had forgotten how much I loved her and hopefully this new confidence to just be the wacky hilarious queen that she is, will continue because she really is something special.
Swell first episode. I don't quite get the love for India everyone else is talking about. Sure, her act was high-energy, but her drag looks have been just awful from entrance look to show look to lip-sync look. Shea is my bet for the win and she slayed every look, plus her act was actually a real act. Jujubee was also a wow as a performer-- hoping her drag gets more interesting going forward.
When you compare what gag-worthy outfits the girls of Season 12 were parading in just a week ago, these so-called All-Stars should be on notice-- step your p*ssies up with the drag lewks, girls. We know you've got it in y'alls.

First one off All Stars 5. Can I just say Derrick is a BABE out of drag, and the 2 partners in his throuple are damn lucky to share him. Still sorry that he's locked in the cage of female impersonation for his career rather than bursting through into true drag queen stardom as Derrick Barry.

Agreed that Derrick is a very handsome guy out of drag, but there's just no there there otherwise. He made a bunch of promises that he just couldn't keep as a performer, and it was an easy dismiss, one of the easiest ever.
I'm not entirely on board for the lipstick schtick coming back, but I guess they feel they need to do something to keep it fresh. We'll see how it goes.

Willam did the funniest Snatch Game stunt ever, when, playing Jessica Simpson, she set up a cardboard cutout of herself and left to go shopping.

That video doesn't surprise me at all. I've stated more than once on here, that I knew him back in the day in Atlanta and what a mean vicious person he could be, if he thought you crossed him.
Shea made the right call tonight. Sad to see Ongina go so soon after waiting years for her to be on the show but the other two were FAR better than she was tonight.
Based on tonight's episode, I think Shea and Jujubee will be the finalists. I really like Miz Cracker, but unfortunately she doesn't seem to be liked by many of the other contestants. If they all get to vote for the winner, she doesn't have a chance. As I said earlier, this is my first exposure to many of these queens. Did Shea ever do Grace Jones in Snatch Game? I swear out of drag she looks just like her. Mariah seems to really dislike Blair St Clair. A lot of below the belt shade against her in the confessionals. Mayhem doesn't seem like she will go far. I really thought she would be in the bottom. I'm kind of disliking Alexis Mateo. Really comes across kind of cu**y.
Shea did Naomi Campbell on Snatch Game. And I agree that it will come down to her and Jujubee and I can’t imagine a world where Juju doesn’t win. She’s basically owed the crown at this point.
As for Alexis, she is one of the nicest, kindest and most genuine human beings you’d ever want to meet.
A pity that Ongina let Cracker get so completely into her head. If Cracker is so desperate to be loved, she's going to need to learn one simple rule -- keep your mouth shut. It was fun watching Alexis Mateo give a straight up read of Cracker's deviousness. I'm not sure that Cracker quite realizes what she's doing, it seems to come from cluelessness rather than game-playing strategy.

While I agree they’ll definitely be the Top 2, I can’t imagine Shea not taking the crown this season. I may be biased as I know her, but she is a STAR.
Jujubee seems to be a perfectly good performer, and seems like one of the smartest folks on the show. HOWEVER... when is she gonna break out an outfit worthy of all-stars? Episode 1 featured a boring black dress followed by a boring black dress. This week we got a red leotard and a conventionally pretty mermaid gown. Where's the show-stopper in her closet? Has she brought any?
One glance over to Shea Coulee's wardrobe and it's clear who the winner should be. Girl's got the talent, smarts and stunning looks to be the true superstar of the bunch (if the producers don't f**k it up.)
P.S. Blair is quite the unexpected treat this season-- wouldn't be surprised to see her make top 3. (But something about her new face goes uncanny valley for me.)
