I would love him anywhere in Washington (so do most people), but I think he makes a lot of money speaking all over the country and his book deals. Same with his lovely wife.
No. Obama's influence is still felt far and wide, but Biden needs to build a new coalition. I'd like to see Mayor Pete picked up as Sec of State, Lael Brainard for Treasury, and Stacey Abrams named Chair of the Federal Election Commission. It would be poetic justice if Biden nominated Sally Yates for Attorney General but she'd most likely have to recuse herself from any criminal cases involving Trump or the current AG Barr.
Michelle Obama is everything that Hilary Clinton wasn’t, if she run for president 4 years ago, she would’ve walked it. If she run this time she would’ve won Florida, Ohio, Texas, Iowa and North Carolina.
But she didn’t and that tell you everything about the lady, she is even a better orator than her husband. She would have been the premier lady president and first fully black president.

Offensive, gross and fundamentallyuntrue."
Yes. I could not think of an appropriate response to the phrase fully black president.
I think Barak is brilliant and don’t agree with the birthism arguments and abhor it, just a Republican smoke screen. All I meant is that Barak was born to white American mother of European dissent, that is why he has a lighter complexion than Michelle.
Regardless of their skin color both are brilliant and I would be the first to vote for both. Let’s not make an issue of this, when there is none.
I would have thought Michelle would be a brilliant president, just as her husband was.

Hilarious and misguided. If you think any woman was going to get over the hump facing that windbag in 2016 you've got another thing coming.

I totally understood what you were saying. Maybe if you had said not mixed. We as black people are proud of Kamala but also know that she is from mixed descent. So your comment was correct.
Something I also noticed on the stations I was watching on Saturday is that a lot of the commentators did not include Harris' Jamaican heritage when describing her and her "firsts" going into office. They only mentioned it when they talked about how her parents met.

He was referring to Michelle specifically.
Incorrect."
"But she didn’t and that tell you everything about the lady, she is even a better orator than her husband. She would have been the premier lady president and first fully black president."
Then who was he referring to? Not going back and forth with you as it is pretty clear.
Sutton Ross said: "Hm, he was clearly talking about both Barack and Michelle Obama. You can move on all you want, it doesn't mean you are right."
Nor does it mean that you are. Go back and re-read what he wrote about her going into office. If you want to, in your world, say it was about both of them, fine. Go for it. Doesn't change my comment in agreement with him.
Honest question: Has there EVER been a former president that served in someone else's cabinet? While I'm sure it is legal, it's a bit odd - like a CEO coming back and managing a Wendy's branch.
Additionally - there would be WAY too many people believing that Barack was actually running the show. I'm sure Joe wants this to be HIS administration, not Obama - the Return.
Michelle has been quite clear that she has NO interest in politics.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Sutton Ross is absolutely CORRECT in what she has posted. You are absolutely INCORRECT in what you have posted. But please, do move on.
