I've been informed that Carl Anderson, who has famously played the role of Judas Iscariot in JCS for the past 29 years or so has passed on. It's sad day for the Anderson fan. He will be very missed. His talent was absolutely extraordinary and quite inspiring.
There's a light in the darkness of everybody's life.
"[My son]'s really into my music, but one day we were listening to Billy [Joel] in the car and he said, 'Daddy, I think Billy's songs are a little better than yours." (Michael Cavanaugh)
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
I was lucky enough to meet Carl Anderson along with Ted Neely who appeared in a tour production of "JSC", reprising their film roles of Judas and Jesus!
A great voice has been silenced....I guess Carl has finally met the real Jesus, IMO.
May peace be with you Carl Anderson.

There is a curious paradox that no one can explain;
Who understands the secret of the reaping of the grain,
Who understands why spring is born out of winter's laboring pain,
Or why we all must die a bit before we grow again.
