If you could be any part in ANY musical who would you be and why? It doesnt matter if the show is on Broadway now or not. Im interested to know. I think playing Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz would be a cool part, yet very difficult. Well that's my choice, how about you?

You're acting like I'm the first person here to get mad that a certain topic is posted 500 times. I wouldnt of said anything if the last time this was discussed was two days ago.

derek, don't be sorry.
mr dream role would be amneris in AIDA.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind answering more than once.
My list can go on despite my lack of singing, dancing and acting skills:
Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie
Belle in Beauty and the Beast
Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors
Penny in Hairspray
Elphaba in Wicked
Hope Cladwell in Urinetown
Amneris in Aida
Eponine in Les Miserables
Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street
Sally Bowles in Cabaret
Christene Daae in Phantom of the Opera
As for why, it is because each of these characters has some wonderful songs to sing, or it is just a fun role in general.
I'll probably be adding to the list.
Oh, yea... I posted that, hah!
'Course I messed up and put it in off-topic--whoops! Lots my placement in his place. (I was so much newer then than I am now! )
Ultimately?
If I was a black woman, Caroline in 'Caroline, or Change'
But, since I'm not... Mark in 'RENT'

Haha, I love the "if i was a black woman but Im not" :) Thanks guys
Tevye in Fiddler would be dream role.....
If I could sing aloud without people running for the doors I would take any role they would give me just to be more than a audiance member.. But my dream would be Eponine in Les Mis...or Sally in Cabaret, preferably starring with Adam or Raul... oh how could i forget Bare if my fairy god mother dropped down to bless me with the talent and choice I would be Ivy in Bare!
I love these posts... HERE WE GO!!!
Seymour in 'Little Shop of Horrors'
Emcee in 'Cabaret'
Gaston in 'Beauty and the Beast'
Jimmy Smith in 'Thoroughly Modern Millie'
Billy Flynn in 'Chicago'
Leo Bloom in 'The Producers'
John Wilkes Booth -OR- Lee Harvey Oswald/Balladeer in 'Assassins'
Elphaba in 'Wicked' (I am a guy but sometimes I wish I could get a sex change just for that part.-Don't quote me on that.)

Easy,
Elphaba- I love her wicked belts and her attitude.
Christine- Just to be led by Phantom down the labrynth(sp?) would make my day everyday and be able to sing some of my favorite songs.
Tracy- This role made me realize even though I wasn't the type A body type, I can do anything I can set my mind to. And I want other girls like me who used to be afraid of standing out because they're heavier, that they can. I want them to have the major self confidence I have thanks to this role.
Fantine- I sang the 'I dreamed a Dream' solo in the Les Miserable medley, and it's stuck with me ever since.
Velma Kelly- I'm known at my school as the 'All that Jazz' girl, plus she's so freaking awesome.
I would love to be the phantom or the baker from into the woods, two very different roles
