If I was older, I would say Martha in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

that's on Broadway currently, isn't it?
I thought it said in a PLAY not a musical?
Can't there ever be a thread that does not mention musicals?

If I were male I would want to play Richard Roma in Glengarry Glen Ross. Liev Schreiber is brilliant in the role and it looks like a lot of fun.
If we were talking musicals then I would choose to be Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. I think Guys and Dolls is such a classic and it's certainly a favorite of mine.
Hmm...most likely Elphaba. Oo! Or Velma Kelly! Gah, if only I could daaaaannnceee! Curse you flexible women!
lol theaterbaby, I'm tired too, so I don't care...
Just do either or both (people replying), doesn't matter.
Blah, it's almost 3 AM, I gotta wake up early... bedtime, just haven't been able to go to sleep.
Night everyone.
I am a male but as for plays - Sister Aloysius in Doubt! And having only seen clips of Pillowman, Mr. Crudups part in the show looks pretty juicy. Musicals - Mark in RENT

oh and maybe, not katurian, the brother in The pillowman, i forgot his name, but i love that role.
Screw gender, age, and type; I would love to be Aaronow in GGR!!! HAHA.
In musical land...
Clara in Piazza or Marcy Park in Spelling Bee -I love that role :0)

I love Mimi in RENT. So probably that. Or maybe Sherie's part in DRS. I've never seen it, but I've loved all of the roles she has played. As for plays, I don't really know any of them on Broadway right now.
I guess the only character I could play agewise on Broadway right now is Senior Nacarelli. But if I were a woman, I'd definitely want to be Margaret.
Tevya.
I am not familiar with any of the plays on Broadway currently, but in terms of musicals:
Mark in Rent
Gordon in Rent
Freddie in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Understudy Joined: 7/31/05
Galinda/Glinda in Wicked
Maria in West Side Story
Christine in The Phantom of The Opera
Rose or Jenny or Guiletta in Apects of Love
Kim in Miss Saigon (Even though I am not asian...dang it!)

In a play, if it had to be one playing right now it would be Martha in "Virginia Wolfe". Otherwise, if I were a lot younger, it would be Catherine in "Proof". In a musical, Muriel in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels". (Well - she gets Greg Jbara!)
Adding Olive from Spelling Bee and Meg from Phantom.
Maureen in Rent or Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Roger in Rent or Lawrence in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
MUSICAL
Douglas Panch in SPELLING BEE
Freddy in DIRTY ROTTEN
Max, Leo, Carmen, or Roger in THE PRODUCERS
PLAY
Father Flynn in DOUBT
Oscar or Felix in THE ODD COUPLE
Michal in THE PILLOWMAN
Nick in VIRGINIA WOOLF
Mr. Corbett in RABBIT HOLE
