Lets just say this is my favorite song. I'll just end
up quoting the whole song.

"It sucks to be staring in a musical noone wants to see, it
sucks to be me"
"It sucks to be pushing 6"3, It sucks to be me"

*Bernadette Peters in Gypsy -
"...and Ethel Merman, just forget her. Lets not discuss (shh) Ethel Merman"
"Merman's got me pissed"

*A Chorus Cat-
"Look at all the pussies - at all the pussies"

Wickeder- Kristen Chenoweth-
"Putting all my bitchiness into paralysis"
"Ahh, I am the star"

I saw the Anniversary show and loved, it but I can't recall the songs! So, here are my faves from SVU.

Wickeder-
"I'll blow the Gershwin up because I AM the loudest WITCH IN OZ! And, no one's gonna turn my volume doooown!"

Forbidden Assassins-
"You are Stephen Sondheim on high..."

The Boy Who's Odd-
"I just recycle, recycle, recycle- Just like Broadway!"

I get lost, unless, of course, I'm getting found.

Mine was always:
"Oh is there not one maiden's breast
That does not flutter at my beauty"

I was convinced that those WERE the lyrics to the song for a while!

The entire song of "Bernadette Peters in Gypsy" was hilarious. I laughed so hard at:

Would you like to hear a little more of my Tony-losing performance? Ok! Here it goes!

2 come to mind

one from F.B. SVU (from i am unworthy of your words)
Teach me to. count in five... four.. time

The second is almost unequaled and it is from F.B. 1 (Angela Lansbury Sequence)
and there must have been a million bucks, the producers threw away. could we recoup one or two, if the show had run past labor day?

I have never seen Forbidden Broadway, but a few days ago I saw Forbidden Hollywood, and they did The Sound of Music, Part 2, and it was hilarious. The actors actually had to pause to control their own laughter.

The whole or Wickeder, especially the 'Strap me in a harness' part and 'you're losing your equlibram, that green paint's seeped in your serebrum'.

Also 'Do you hear the people sing, singing the new songs of Les. Even Andrew Loyd Webber wishes these songs could be his...' or something like that also the whole 'Julie Taymore' bit from The Lion King Segment and 'Don't Cry for Me Barbra Strisand'.

I haven't seen FB for about year, but I was literally in tears laughing during the "Bernadette Peters" segment and the Liza segment. The impressions were so exactly perfect that I truly couldn't breathe from laughter.

My favorite on that CD (that hasn't been mentioned) is Judy's ill-pronunciation in "Everything Old is New Again." Just hilarious!

The funniest number has to be the Light In The Piazza number.
I laugh so hard tears roll down my face.
This from someone who has seen FB over 60 times, NEVER WEAR MASCARA WHEN YOU SEE FB.
PS It is the best show ever written.

The line that always sticks with me is from "Who's Gay in Hollywood":

I am beginning to think there is a cure for homosexuality; a SAG card.

Who did the song again?*(Sorry I am having the mother of all brainfarts), She was brilliant in her impersonation.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien
