I paid $101.25 for my Spamalot ticket in August. It was worth that and the nearly three hours spent in the cancellation line - Orchestra Row F Seat 8!
What's the most you've ever paid and for what show?

Posted: 1/23/06 at 10:27am$101 for Nine (revival), and it was a limited view seat (the last seat on the mezz all the way on the right). It was worth every penny though.

Posted: 1/23/06 at 10:42amI think the only time I've ever paid full price for an orchestra seat was for the closing performance of Long Day's Journey into Night. I got in line at 5am for SRO, and waited until noon for the box office to open, and ended up being the 2nd person not to get SRO (apparently some people farther ahead in line must have bought 2 tix when they said they'd only buy 1, or someone jumped the line or something, because I should have had one of the last SRO spots)...Anyway, after waiting all that time, I wasn't going to leave empty handed. They had a few scattered singles and I managed to get a great orchestra seat on a side aisle. After going to opening night, it was worth the $100-whatever to go to closing night as well!
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

Posted: 1/23/06 at 11:00amI paid $240 a ticket to the very last show of the Producers that Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick were doing. Great seats,and it was amazing to be there that day, but that was a LOT of money!

Oh! I lied! I paid over $100 for a Yankees-Red Sox ticket for the ALCS playoffs game 6 two years ago. I was just thinking broadway.
And I paid $95 for Wicked in Chicago, but then won the lotto and sold my other ticket, so I didn't really end up paying that much.

$240.00 for Wicked Premium seats, two years ago.
It looks like their Premium seats are now going for 300.00.
I come from out of town once or twice a year. I guess I do whatever I have to to get tickets to the new shows. However, my last trip not only did I not have to buy Premium tickets, I got many shows at discounts!

$250.00 But it is a present. Then also premium for Christmas at Radio City Music Hall. Couldn't help myself Oh also I can't even mention how much I spent for a Bruce Sprinsteen outdoor concert back in 1985 or 86 as part of the Born in The USA tour. Very young, very stupid, very obsessed
