That is exciting news! I think she has an indredible voice!

She has a very powerful voice. I've only seen her and heard her in Spamalot. It will be interesting to hear her voice in a new light.
I hope she shows up for the recording session.
Watch. All of the pop-culture Grey's Anatomy freaks who know nothing about Broadway are going to be like, "There goes another celebrity trying to make it as a singer!"
Cool!
I am sooo excited, but I'm not too sure about Eric Idle writing for her. I mean I love Spamalot, but I don't know if it'll work. Any thoughts?
You know, I never saw her in Spamalot or anything, but I just...like her. I'm excited.
Wanna Be A Foster, Perez Hilton was already thinking along those lines. How obnoxious.

What's Grey's Anatomy star Sara Ramirez doing during her summer hiatus?

“All I can say is that Eric Idle and John Du Prez, who were the writers of Spamalot, are writing the album,” said Ramirez.
Is it possible that she isn't recording a solo album, but a concept album or demo for a future Idle/Du Prez show?
Otherwise, what idiot would choose that songwriting team to compose her whole big solo release?
Is it going to be like good music. I mean Spamalot is one thing...but for them to be writing it...hmm.
well, I love Diva's lament, so I'm excited to have a whole CD of Sara singing their music. AWESOME! she has a fantastic voice, but also fantastic comedy chops! Love her!
