Same here. Current NY bf works for one of the PR firms that reps most of the shows.
I was required to send a sh*tload of documents for credentials to be issued. I also had to send a passport photo. I'm surprised they didn't ask me for a DNA sample. Oy!
Having attended numerous award shows in the past, I'm dreading the long evening...but the after-parties he's told me that we're attending will make the long night worthy.
You guys do realize that after they announce thhe noms they do sell tickets via ticketmaster right?

There's no need for the apostrophe, by the way. It's just the Tonys. It’s short for the Antoinette Perry Awards. Not Antoinette’s Awards or Antoinette Perry’s Awards.
keep in mind, that online you cannot at all hear the tone of what the person was saying. I was only informing them because they do sell tickets for the event on ticketmaster and going to the show via knowing people isn't that big a deal for the Tonys. Keep in mind though that tickets are something like 200 a pop but that is neather here nor there.

^ Yeah, because everyone here can obviously afford that. Honestly, TKTS questions are posted on this site every day. What world do you live in, and will you please give us all one of your money trees?

I think it's EVERYONE's dream to one day go to the TONYs, hmm? For those of you who do have tickets to the ceremony, where are your seats located? I'm sure we're all curious.
I went last year and had a lot of fun. I didn't think the evening was really long. I sat in the front of the 1st Mezz. Would love to sit downstairs. Not sure how they handle cameras if you are doing the red carpet, but where you enter on the other side of Radio City, they went through bags and took cameras. Even though we didn't sit with the stars, it was fun walking out with them and then down the red carpet afterwards. A great night that I would definetly do again. I know my ticket in the mezz was 200 bucks, but a friend got it for me for my birthday.
