Circle in the Square...the stage can't get much lower than that!
Schoenfeld.
The Golden- there's no better way to see Ave Q than from the front row lotto seats.

Everyone seems to think Front Row Center are the best seats at the Eugene O'Neill.
I personally would LOVE to be front row at Studio 54 for 110. Even if they DO give you towels. LOL. just to be that close.
I think it depends more on the show rather than the theatre.

I hate to sound like an idiot, but why do they give you towels? Because the stars have saliva issues? That's actually pretty awesome. Spring Awakening should look into that.
Well...
*spoilers*
It rains. :)

AH! I see. Makes sense. Yeah, because it seemed odd that they'd go out of their way to save people from getting spit on. Or maybe I'm just stupid.

id hate front row for spring awakening. i wouldnt' wnat j. grof's spit everywhere ew.
how's front row at the lunt and hirshfeld?
mirror... You're not stupid. I think in some shows (SA) they SHOULD give towels...or sanitizing wipes or something for all the spitting. But that's not why at 110. It's pretty cool. It's mostly on stage. but there is a bit of splash according to the guy who was working the box office when I got my ticket for the announced closing date of 7/15. He asked if I'd seen it already, and I said I had, so we chatted about it a little. The box office people and I guess some others got to see it from the front row when they were getting the rain set up to see how bad the wetness was. He said it's not bad, but they put the towels there just in case.

Golden is the best!
Neil Simon theatre is THE WORST. Your neck/back will never be the same again.
yeah i love front row at Golden :) i also sat front row at Studio 54 and it rocked. i was off to the side, though, so i didnt need my towel as much

haha
the neil simon and the gershwin are the worst lol
It definitely also depends on the show, not just the theatre. Some shows build upon the theatres stage such that the new stage can be very high....
Front row at Studio 54 was increible! I sat there for "The Apple Tree". Probably the best front row seats I've ever sat in.
The Hirschfeld was okay, but I was definetly having to look up.
The Vivien Beaumont was also amazing from the front row. Seeing Piazza from those seats was absolutely incredible.
The Barrymore front row was very good for Company.
Front row at the Kerr for Grey Gardens was difficult, mostly because I was off to the extreme left.
At the Kerr, the front row center is amazing. Since the orchestra is set back a little, it gives a terrific view.
Also appreciate the view at Studio 54 (Cabaret).
1st row at the o'neil is awesome for SA
the august wilson does a killing on your neck, espically from the rush seats
the broadhurst wasnt the best either, but they were enjoyable seats

broadhurst is bad?
Walter Kerr definitely has nice front row.
The Hirschfeld was okay, they were really good seats but I'm short so I DEFINITELY had to look up.
