How do you obtain your "extra" playbills when seeing a show?

Personally i do grab a few from the stack at the end of an row of seats. I end up with maybe 10 or 15

I do what you did, or on the way out I keep an eye out for ones that people left behind that are in good condition.

I used to take a LOT, but now I'm happy with 2 or three.

I usually grab an extra 2 or 3 during intermission from the stack that's usually sitting in a corner behind the last row. I used to take a few more than that but I realized I only really needed one for the "master collection" of one for each show I'd seen, one to get signed and maybe one extra.

Same here. Then I get mad when I get home and discover how many have fingerprints. re: One Playbill per person please.......one or one-hundred

I understand that many people like to collect playbills, but why take 10 or 15? They do cost the show money...

I always see PLENTY left under the seats that people just leave, so I always take those, because they would have been taken by those people anyway.

On my way out I take a few extra ones from the box that's always behind the last center aisle seat on the last row. That same box has been in the exact same place since I've been seeing shows on Broadway (1972). Same applies to National Tours.

I just take the ones that other theatre patrons have left behind.

I always use the one they give me. Then when I am leaving or their not looking I grab at least 3 more. One for my collection, one for a back up for my collection, and one to cut up and decorate my bulletin board in my dorm room.

Why would you take 10 or 15? That makes no sense.

I ask for an extra if I need it, or take ones that people leave.

The only time I took an extra playbill was when mine somehow disappeared during the show and I think I had wanted to get it signed so I took an extra from the pile in the back. Sometimes I get extras if I go with my family because I just end up having their playbills too. I don't do anything special with playbills except store them in a drawer so I don't really see any need for me to take more than one or two, but to each his own.

One Playbill PER PERSON Please! Didn't you see when Audra was on the View? People had taken so many extra Playbills for 110 in the Shade that there wasn't even ONE for Elisabeth Hasselback to holdup when Audra performed!!!!!

If I grab an extra, I take one, MAYBE two (either one left behind or from the stack). Any more is just kinda silly.

I wanted an extra one for my scrapbook one time, so I just picked one up that another audience member had left behind. There's usually a few; no need to go rifling through the ushers' scret stashes. :3

See, I'm the kinda fella who takes what he gets - the original one I'm handed before taking my seat. Depending on who I'm seeing the show with (friend or family), they'll usually let me have theirs, and then (of course), I'll do my best to snag a fwe while making my way out of the theatre. I like to have a few for extended family (to show around and bring from place-to-place, etc.), one for autographs and another to use for my wall and desk display. That's just me, though.

From here on out, everyone at BWW should always get an extra playbill and send it to the View, c/o Elizabeth.
