Name the musical that never played Broadway you would like to see make it here.

You can include those that played regionally along with those proposed but never staged.

I will start with:

Sayonara

"Sayonara"

No, nobody would ever go with that title. It would close on Opening Night -- or open on closing night.

"The Good Old Bad Old Days", a Newley-Bricusse show that had an OK run in London.

"Harmony"

"The Visit"

The Good Old Bad Old Days was originally supposed to come to the Palace under a different title. For some reason, it never did. I have th LP of the London Cast & it is quite enjoyable.

Another show I would like to see

A Wonderful Life

Nymph Errant -- the only Porter score never to have had a Broadway outing. There's a studio recording and the score is a gem.

eventually or even now The Drowsy Chaperone will be a good example. It's a great show but it didn't catch on.

WINDY CITY - terrific London musical based on "The Front Page". The score is one of my all-time favorites.

It has had at least one stateside production, but this should be a natural for Broadway.

it's fairly well known isn't it? Plus, it would never work on broadway, its too bizarre. It would have to have stunt casting to be successful, and its too good of a show to be subjected to the awfulness that is stunt casting.

I've always wanted to direct a production of BB that has the emotional tone of a Greek tragedy. let the people laugh for a while and then rip the still beating heart from their chest and squeeze the blood over their heads.
