The only roles for her in this production of Rocky would Magenta or the Narrator and she's not really right for either.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Hilty hasn't been a replacement since Wicked at the beginning of her career, so I imagine this has to be something exciting enough for her to want to. My bet (hope) is on Oh, Mary. Louise seems like too small a role for her unless she's playing alongside a huge star. I think she'd be brilliant as Mary.
Also, I imagine doing an 80-minute play with a little singing would be really enticing after her experience with Death Becomes Her.

She would be amazing as Louise in O,M!
I cannot see her following Simard into Schmig, that would be a little odd…

I was hoping someone would start this thread! Whatever it is, I just might have to come check it out.
"Rocky Horror" seems to make the most logical sense to me. Do we know how long Sherie Rene Scott is staying?
"Schmigadoon" I have no desire to see this show, buuuuut if Megan Hilty happens to replace, I'll be there.
"Oh, Mary!" Personally, I could also see her as Louise and being so game for it, too.
I can't imagine she'd be going into something like "& Juliet" and her "Wicked" days seems to be behind her. Whatever it is, super excited to have Hilty back. I thought for sure it would be several more years until she returned after departing DBH.
Also, is it professional for the venue to put this information out there like that? I feel like the wording should be something vague like, "conflicting engagement"

This is what I want, personally. And the notice in the screenshot says she'll be in rehearsal in November, not actually in the show yet, so this would make a lot of sense imo.
