He knows what a sexy bitch he is, strategically placing himself in front of that mirror drying off.
I need a few moments alone now.
He's yummy.
Did you notice that you can see a glimpse of something in that mirror shot?
nice

God, he's beautiful. There is nothing I love more than a nice hairy chest (why any guy shaves/waxes/manscapes or otherwise is beyond me). Thanks for the link.
I never realized how hot he was until I saw this video. Yowzah.
I'm almost embarrassed about how hot I find him. Bear Jew, indeed.
He's a brilliant writer and director. There I said it.
For Italian and Japanese horror fans like me, it would be hard to find a better or more original homage to those genres than HOSTEL or HOSTEL II (equally good, if not better, than the first).
Not many feel this way, but those films along with THANKSGIVING (trailer) are some of my favorite horror entries of the 00s.
P
I think that he should act more. I think he sort of closely resembles Zachary Quinto.

I am a fur fan from way back, and have shocked myself by finding fur-related desireability in men I otherwise can't stand, such as in the photo of a red-nosed George W (it once stood for "woof!") Bush in hospital scrubs holding the infant twins.
But I think Eli Roth is a reprehensible human being, as a nominal filmmaker and an individual. So much so that, frankly, I wish he would die. Soon.
What did he do? I must have missed something.
Do tell!
I admit not being comfortable with his images of gay people in the Hostel films, but half of me is trying to give him benefit of the doubt.
I assume everyone has seen that photo of him showing his assets.
Well, it's a fake huge asset designed by the prop wizards who did Roger Bart's fake _____ for Hostel II, but it's still worth a peek.

" ... but half of me is trying to give him benefit of the doubt."
As Hedwig would say, there's no need, there's no need.
Roth is a lunkheaded misogynist homophobe whose movie work is detestable. Every interview I've read or seen on TV of him displays an almost sociopathic level of narcissism. I could almost, ALMOST, tolerate him if he would just come out and say he gets a physical boner depicting torture and abject cruelty onscreen. But like that other phony I loathe (though not quite enough to wish he would die), Neil LaBute, he's too busy washing his hands of his own pathology and projecting it onto his audience.
Fortunately, his Hostel sequel was such a surprisingly enormous flop, he and his oeuvre have been all but completely repudiated. This is why his pimp put him in Inglorious Basterds, which is reason #1 I wouldn't spend money on that turd.
His new movie has a bigger budget than all three of his first films combined, Namo, so obviously someone believes in him besides his "pimp".
As for the rest of what you said, it's wrong and misguided, but I won't waste my time trying explain to you why since it is very clear you have made up your mind and no one changes Namo's mind.
P
P.S. He forthrightly admits torture horror gives him a boner and has said so numerous times. Takashi Miike, possible the greatest living horror director, openly admits the same. Is having a gore make-up effect fetish so uncouth as to wish someone dead over it? Or shall we get into the tired debate about his "responsibility" as a director of violent horror films?

You've overused the word uncouth today. Get a thesaurus.
As for his "responsibility," I couldn't possibly give less of a crap. He's an a-hole and I hope he gets back exactly what he puts out in the world.
" ... no one changes Namo's mind."
You have no idea what you're talking about. But I won't be so uncouth as to say I think you're an a-hole like your sociopathic hero.
Not that it makes any misogynistic or homophobic behavior acceptable, but I'm pretty sure that Roth is gay. I mean, listen to that voice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC9ZIOvohds
He might be hot but all of his movies suck. Cabin Fever, Hostel, Hostel II..they all suck. No suspense, no tension, no character development, no wit, just boring gross outs. Is he still planning on ruining Stephen King's Cell?

I've actually never seen any of his movies, unless you count the Thanksgiving trailer.

You've seen the sum total of his best work.
And PG...I'm pretty sure the budget for Eli's next movie was set before Hostel II tanked.
