No surprise. Conservatives aren't even fond of her. Wouldn't be at all surprised if she's on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. Her career is going to be over so quickly.
Overall I like her, but I wonder if they won't consider her since she doesn't label herself as a Republican anymore.
Former GOP... She said on both shows this week that she's not a Republican anymore and doesn't follow the new beliefs the party stands for.
I just want Joy to take a week off already. She's gotten annoying lately.

Ana Navarro's mother passed away yesterday. Whoopi missed today's show and will miss tomorrow's show due to being exposed to COVID. Both Ana and Whoopi were present for Friday's holiday taping which happened on Tuesday afternoon. The View goes on their Winter hiatus for two weeks after Friday's show.

Or one of their hair & make-up people? Usually when one of the co-hosts call-out last minute, they reach out to the team at GMA/ABC News. All depends how last minute Whoopi called out.
Deborah Roberts is co-hosting for their final live show of 2021.

No way. I figured they'd plan on Meghan's replacement becoming official for the second half of the season but there's no signs of them actually adding a fifth co-host permanently for this season. Now with Ana out for likely all of January, expect a lot of random guest co-hosts to start the second half. Or perhaps they go virtual for a few weeks due to the rise in cases?

ACL, I thought of you when this popped up in my podcasts today.
'The View' is cultural (and political) canon
The View will be changing to a virtual audience at the beginning of the year when it returns on Jan. 3.
The show will be virtual at least for the month of January. Whoopi tested positive over the holidays and will be out this entire week. Surprised to see Ana back today.

I don't see them back in the studio anytime soon. Agreed about Whoopi tuning out while being virtual. But, in general, I don't care for Joy as the moderator either. Hopefully Omicron/COVID cases start to decline in the next week or so because the virtual set-up for the show just doesn't work well. The show has been so much better since they returned to the studio in September.
To my surprise, they're back in the studio today. Virtual audience though.
Anyone know why Sara's been out most of this week?
Star Jones, Vieira and Hasselbeck to guess co-host throughout February on The View.
