On another note, the show is so much better with Ana at the table. They won't make her full-time for various reasons, but the political talk today about George W Bush, Liz Cheney & #45 would have went off the rails if Meghan was still there. Ana & Sunny had a civil conversation about the Republican party and it was enjoyable to listen to.

I wouldn't make her permanent, but I thought Carly Fiorina did fine as guest host.  She was respectful, voiced her opinion without having to read 10 paragraphs from her notes, and didn't seem to rub anyone the wrong way.

I wonder how long they'll continue with the guest co-hosts? Honestly, if Ana can do 2 shows a week(Thur/Fri) and they get a guest for Tue/Wed, just keep it as is until the end of the year.

Midway through their show today, Sunny and Ana had to leave as it was announced they both tested positive for COVID-19. The interview with VP Harris, if it happens, will be done remotely. Joy and Sara remain on the set and on air and are improvising the rest of the show.

You can be sure Whoopi is counting her lucky stars that she has been away all week.
Craziness though.  What won't they do for ratings :P

Whoopi was in Monday and Tuesday. Joy said at the start of today's show her back was the reason she's been out the rest of the week.

She can cry all she wants, but the shows is much better without her. And for her to throw Whoopi under the bus is completely unprofessional.

Some of the things Whoopi and Joy would say to her were disgusting.  Especially that Joy remark that is discussed in the article.

The environment at the show has been toxic for years.  There are many times where Rosie has claimed almost the same treatment McCain is describing (especially from Whoopi).

It wasn't a classy move for sure, but Joy was also nasty to her on that day as well.

Yet Meghan gave the show an ultimatum in her first year for them to be nicer to her or fire Sunny. It's a blessing she's out now.

Rosie left after the second time because she wanted more control and wasn't happy she wasn't the moderator. She has bashed the show and Whoopi on numerous occasions and then later takes back what she has said. I do feel the transition years from when Barbara retired until this current lineup of co-hosts was uneasy. Nicole Wallace was one of their best co-hosts and should have never been fired. The year with Jenny McCarthy was awful. Bila wasn't easy to listen to, either. Not sure a change happens to the lineup currently unless Joy retires.

What if Whoopi leaves and Rosie comes back? I love Rosie, she's great TV and miss her talk show. But I think it doesn't work to have too many "bulls" at one table.

1. Rosie lives in Los Angeles now. 2.) She has bashed The View so much, there's no chance in her every coming back.

In regards to Whoopi, she recently signed a 4 (four) year extension.

I don't get her bashing Whoopi in the book and the goes on to say that everyone blew it up and she actually adores Whoopi.
