Why does the Obama administration have such disdain for Israel? Next week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be in the USA. He asked to meet with Pres. Obama to discuss Iran's goal of becoming a nuclear power. The Obama administration said they do not have time to meet with him --too busy campaigning. BUT, Pres. Obama will have time to appear on the David Letterman Show!

Pres. Barack Obama only attends 44% of his daily security briefings in his first 1,200 days. If you just look at 2011 to 2012 the number drops to 38% !!
Pres. Bush almost never missed a daily security briefing. Bush's daily security briefings took place every day at 7 am. Obama's take place at 10:30!

Is this guy just "playing" at being President?

About the same time, the Republican National Committee and prominent Republicans such as Dick Cheney and John McCain threw another faulty bit of plumbing at Obama: that the president “does not attend his daily intelligence meeting” more than half the time, in contrast to George W. Bush, who “almost never missed his daily intelligence meeting.” This claim was the work of former Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen, who writes a weekly online column for The Washington Post.

In reality, Obama didn’t “attend” these meetings, because there were no meetings to attend: The oral briefings had been mostly replaced by daily exchanges in which Obama reads the materials and poses written questions and comments to intelligence officials. This is how it was done in the Clinton administration, before Bush decided he would prefer to read less. Bush’s results — Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, and the failure to find Osama bin Laden — suggest this was not an obvious improvement.

My official statement: "You try to breach our embassy's security walls, we will blow your friggin' brains out."

Except that doesn't scare them. They've created a whole strategy around getting their brains blown out for the cause. In fact, your statement is exactly what they want us to say. It allows them to justify, in their minds, doing what they're doing.

This is why we need someone like Obama in office. He understands the subtleties of foreign affairs. And it's exactly why we don't need a cowboy like Bush or McCain or a bozo like Romney.

Obama understands that this outburst of anti-American protest has nothing to do with the film in question. That's just a convenient excuse for radical groups to instigate new attacks...and on 9/11 of all days...what an amazing coincidence.

Romney, on the other hand, has a strategy of trying to put out fire with gasoline.

A few weeks ago I was challenged to compare the Bush economic record to that of Obama. Instead of doing it all in one massive post, I have been spreading it out bit by bit. Here is my latest

Obama has failed in every way. The Middle East and North Africa are in flames, and Obama cannot even come close to dealing with it.

"What do you think the consequences of wiping them all out would be?"

A lot of dead American-hating, Jew-hating, women-hating, murderous, radical muslims.

And a lot of living American-hating, Jew-hating, women-hating, murderous radical muslims who are thinking, "Gee, ever tyime we gather to burn their flags and chant our hatred they kill us. Maybe we should stop doing that."

It's WIN WIN!

Exactly, Snafu. They don't see death as a threat. They see it as an honor. So threats of death don't work. That's why the Bush/Romney/Mikey mentality fails every time. And the fact that they can't see it is really the biggest failure.

If Mikey really is a teacher I hope he doesn't have any Muslim American students.
