I really can't think of any from the 60's because on all the sitcoms had canned laughter, women doing housework in pearls and heels, and fathers dispensing wise advice while smolking a pipe. The 70's gave us All in The Family. The 80's definitly Golden Girls and the 90's The Nanny.

Yenta, Dick Van Dyke Show had a live audience (and 3 cameras), Laura wore slacks, and Rob not only didn't smoke a pipe, but his son Ritchie made him nervous and self-doubting. I think we can safely say the show transcended its time.
60s - Dick Van Dyke Show/The Addams Family
70s - Mary Tyler Moore Show/All in the Family
80s - Newhart/Roseanne
90s - Will and Grace/Absolutely Fabulous
00s - Arrested Development/Coupling (BBC)
Queer as Folk is not a sitcom. Nor is it the best anything. Except maybe melodramatic garbage. But it's not even good melodramatic garbage. Doesn't stop me from watching it, though.

70s* - Mary Tyler Moore/All in the Family
*Honorary Mention - The Partridge Family (sorry, have a soft spot for Susan Dey)

Marquise - I had a hard spot for David Cassidy
Everybody Loves Raymond and Wall and Grace are sitcoms from the 90s. They've just run long enough to spill over into the 00s.
But I love both of them. I'll be sad when Raymond ends this season.
90's has to go to either 'Seinfeld' or 'The Simpsons,' both contributed more to pop culture than any other shows, that's for sure.
And the 80's? That's easy: ALF.

Gilligan's Island?
All in the Family?
The COSBY SHOW!?
All in the Family and The Cosby Show were both socially significant shows of their eras. As was Good Times, which I also believe to be one of the great sitcoms of the 70s.
60s...Bewitched
70s...MaryTylerMoore (who could possibly suggest otherwise?)
80s...Golden Girls
90s...Seinfeld
00s...no greats off the top of my head...but my guilty pleasure is That 70s Show (Red and Kitty are the best sitcom parents ever)
LOL DGrant I just caught you're David Cassidy comment!
