Brd, congrats on the great 'transformation' Lots of motivation from folks in this thread.
I haven't seen FROZEN yet. Everyone has been raving, so I have to figure out time to see it!
Moony, I was thinking about your Mom. Hope she has everything she needs to get through this crazy cold weather spell. Doesn't it feel like the entire month of January has been snow days or delayed openings? My sister was saying she thinks the kids will be in school until July!
We went through and donated old coats and blankets this year. We no longer need them, and there are so many who do!
Stay warm. Seeing PIPPIN again tonight (long story - crazy timing - plans made a long time ago). There is a TalkBack with the acrobats following the show, which I'm looking forward to.
"Two drifters off to see the world. There's such a lot of world to see. . ."
OK - Appellate Court brief due to printer in 2 hours. I know that her mother in law died, but we still have to do our jobs! "I just can't concentrate!"
They've also been hosting a raffle each day. My name was chosen the first day. My prize? A 3' by 2' box of....chocolates. That was overkill for even the likes of me! I gave it to the maintenance crew.
Morning! Vatican tour booked (for the past 2 weeks all tours had our exact dates booked. annoying). Bridal Shower location/date/time confirmed and agreed upon. Now I just need to order the invites to get out before I leave. Another 1/2 chapter studied.
And I wonder why I have had anxiety induced nightmares for days lol. Happy Thursday!
BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless
Tink, I love hearing about the plans for your trip!
Moony, that's an enormous box of chocolates! Making friends with the maintenance crew is always a good idea.
I can't wait for all the SuperBowl and Olympics preparations to be over! Media insanity!
The Talk Back with the acrobats after PIPPIN last night was wonderful! So fascinating to hear about their backgrounds in the circus, and what incorporating that into a Broadway show meant to them. Some of the other cast members joined and the conversation was lively. They had to kick us out of the theatre. Amazing, amazing show.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
Very much, Boobs! Still a few little things need to be taken care of, but overall it's functioning beautifully.
Girly, the "power boiling" feature ramps up the speed and intensity of the flames on the burner so it gets much hotter much faster, therefore reaching boiling point pretty quickly.
And Max is much happier now that his world is getting back to normal. He seems used to the new kitchen, ie, he knows exactly where his food and treats are stored.
