We put a Billie into our new kitchen. It's like a Zip but a smaller, neater unit. It is wonderful to have instant boiling and chilled, filtered water. No more waiting for a kettle or placing jugs in the fridge. Marvellous.

This is the third page in a row that my post is at the top.
I have GOT to get the car washed! I CANNOT stand it anymore!! I don't care if I pull out of the car wash, and it starts to pour. Just need to get all that salt crap off.
And I plan on relaxing, relaxing, relaxing. Oh and relaxing some more.

The Swede is working this weekend, so it's just me and the kiddo. We've decided that she is going back full time and I am giving up the part-time gig. As of April Fool's Day, I will be an official stay-at-home-mom. o_O
Oh, and hey, y'all!
I have missed this thread!
I need to make my Turkey Chili tonight, so that I can drop it off tomorrow for my church's Souper Bowl sale on Sunday. You can buy soup and bread after service on Sunday that parishioner's made. Not sure if I'll need to buy any being I will have left over chili
nom nom, Boobs! Sounds yummy!
Happy Friday!
Low Key weekend here. Hiking saturday and maybe even Sunday if the temps stay in the 40s. Super Bowl party, and maybe brewing some beer. I'm liking my weekends. :)
My cousin in CA, is very into brewing his own beer. He's even had a couple of his win contests. I don't think he even buys beer anymore.

Mr. Happy and his friend may enter a competition I found at a local bar. They have quite an elaborate set up but most of it wasn't bought, but made by their geeky brains, which makes it cooler. His dad and him just molded all this copper tubing into an immersion cooler so they can stop having to buy ice and such when in the cooling period. Pretty cool stuff. So far, I've only been allowed to dump the hops in. lol. The next planned brew is one I might even like and be able to drink after. The one from 2 weeks ago has to sit for another 2-3 months before the next phase commences. Pretty complex stuff.
Yep, sounds pretty much like Rod. He's got quite the set-up also, from what his Dad said. Not knowing much about it all, I'll take his word for it.

Hey JG! Stay at home mom eh? BTW I LOVE your AV. Frozen is now officially my favorite Disney movie. As a matter of fact I woke up at 1:30 this morning due to stuffiness, damn sinuses!,and "Let It Go" was stuck in my head. I just wanted to let it go, so I could fall back to sleep.
Tinky, that all sounds cool!
We've been watching it quite a lot. It's being released here today, but without Idina, I am just not interested. I have a feeling my kid isn't going to know anything about Swedish Disney movies.
I have a total cartoon crush on Elsa.
OK, wee funny Frozenish story - when my mom was in the hospital, she had some issues with her stomach/system. I had set up a small speaker for her to listen to music on, and as she went into the bathroom, I put on "Let It Go" for motivation - potty humor at its worst.
I am having a superbowl shindig with many of the folks who would normally come to my New Year's Eve shindig - a little more shopping to do, and clutter to hide before Sunday.
Happy Friday Adults! Have a great one.
JG2 - that's exciting news!
Tink - enjoy all the festivities!
To everyone relaxing - so glad it's not going to be bitter, bitter cold. Happy R&R-ing.
I'm working late tonight. Heading to CT for the day tomorrow. Going to the FOX SuperBowl party in NYC (Central Park) on Saturday night. Participating in an event in church on Sunday morning - for the mission project that we are sending the middle and high school groups on. And then... enjoying the big game. And the commercials.

Big case of insomnia for me. Couldn't fall asleep and then mostly just tossed and turned. I finally decided to just get the day going... Making lists of things that need to get done in a short amount of time.
The SB lucked out with yesterday's weather! Hope everyone stays safe on this snowy day.
Am looking forward to Billy Joel tonight. (Maybe I can find a time/place for a nap!)
Good morning kids. What a mess out there. In the time it took me to get dressed it went from rain, to heavy sleet to wet, fast sticking snow -- easily an inch in the last half hour. I'm taking a snow day ... AGAIN.
Mornin'
Because the powers that be live directly across the street, school is open today. And my inbox is getting flooded from students telling me they can't make it into NYC this morning. Since a lot of my kids do commute from LI, NJ, upstate and CT, I do understand this. However, I'm a little confused by the email from the dorm student ( also across the street... )
Think, you moron, think!
