'Morning! It's been POURING here since 1:00am - at least it's rain. For now. It's supposed to change over to snow within the hour, but there's so much water out there I think the snow will melt when it hits the ground/road. We'll see..
Day 3 without chocolate. Haven't killed anyone. Yet.
Morning peeps! I woke up to rain, but by the time I got into the City is was wet snow. Slippery walk from PA to my office. I'm glad HC power washed the sand off of our driveway yesterday. Hopefully we now enough ice melt to put down this time. I feel like there's a beach in my house. Still banging sands out of my boots and shoes.

Someone here pointed out that the downpours from the past 6 hours has washed away all the salt and ice melt from the streets - just in time for snow and ice this afternoon. Nature is perverse.
I just want it to be snowing!!! I could only imagine how much we'd have in DC if all of this rain was snow.
Sorry Girly I took your top spot Bwhahahahahaha
We're at about the 5 inch mark here in Bucks County, Dottie. I'd rather have rain.
Morning! I was by Mr. Happy last night and trekking to work was not fun this morning. That will not be happening again. Got run off the road by a garbage truck and all. Got to work to learn that none of my department or side of the building bothered coming in. So I waited a bit and headed back home (easier commute as I am mostly a highway).
I'm still amazed at last night. I knew there was a chance the Broncos would lose but to have just self combust like that... I still don't get it. But congrats to DD and his town, they played one hell of a game!
Wasn't overly thrilled with the commercials.
We got some much needed rain last not, just a bit, but it rained during the superbowl.
Party was a success, and now, I just have to find where I put everything when I "cleaned" up.
And, I am taking today off to make up for the weekend - WHEW!
It seemed no one told the Broncos the game was yesterday. I was happy that for the first time I bought a box in the Super Bowl pool and won. It seems I had the last laugh on all those that said my 2-0 would never win. Never say never, peeps!
Thank you Downton Abbey Season 4 for keeping me entertained while others yelled, cursed and threw objects at their TV sets. I will miss you until next year...au revoir!

Just for the record, there was no throwing of objects at Casa Moony. We are very proud of that accomplishment.
I'm glad of that Moony, but I had other friends who filled in for Mr. Moony from what I hear LOL
Boobs, I don't care what your dumbass boss says, get the next bus out of there!!

Yea my dumbass boss is working in MP today. Now I'm stuck here because NJ Transit doesn't put extra buses on in this weather. I cannot go through what I went through the last snow storm waiting for 2 hours in the PA for a bus. I'm better off riding out the storm.
How about a train? There's always taxi's at the station. I don't think you should wait. The forecast keeps changing. Maybe stay in the city and make them pay for a room!

I may have to opt for the train tonight. We'll see. HC stayed home...I'm glad.
Thanks YOU. Hope Mom is doing better.

We had sophomore boys in the basement watching the game - such nice courteous and also hilarious kids! Mini pigs in the blankets, wings, pizza, etc. I rooted for DD's team!!!! It seems like a lifetime ago that we beat the Seahawks in the playoffs.
Nice day here, cold and snow on the way. GREAT time visiting C20 - such great roommates, really nice trip. Good family bonding although C15 would rather not share a hotel room with his parents!
Thanks Boobs. She was having a good morning today.
Great to hear, YOU.
Snow is falling lightly here in the City. I'm dreading this commute tonight.
I've been sending members of my team who commute/drive home. I don't want them getting to the train stations after dark and then trying to drive home. It's not safe.
The office is starting to resemble a ghost town as many never made it in at all today.
I hope the snow has tapered off when it's time to leave MSG tonight!
Boobs, you're always welcome here.
Thanks, Deet. I'll call you if I get in a bind. XO
East side. West side. You're covered if you need a place to stay!
