or is gas
Deet, I knew you wouldn't disappoint
Funny you should mention that, Boobs. Every time I see Christie, I think of one of Alice Kramden's best lines to Ralph:
"Now that you have your gas-bag filled, why don't you blow away?"
Christie would wind up in California if he did that
Nah, he'd be shot down somewhere over Louisiana, then grilled and served at a tailgate party.
That could feed the state of Louisiana.
Mornin'
My writers group is giving me the whole evening tonight for a reading of GODDESS..., and SON OF ROBBIE J is participating. So excited!

Wow - star casting, Deet! Is Robbie donning his red dress and pearls to play the Goddess?
No school today. I'll give the roads a hour or two to warm up before I head down to the office. Glad I stocked up on ice melt over the weekend - there was none left yesterday.
Nope, he's playing SON of the GODDESS OF THE HUNT.
We technically have a delayed opening but I'm just working from home. Not worth it when I can get everything done at home.
Be safe everyone!

Deet, that's wonderful casting news.
SO DONE with this winter. (As I pack to fly to Russia. Although I was speaking with some people there this morning and they said it's a little on the warm side. yay!)
Half the people on my team are stuck in the 'burbs and can't get in. One is stuck in Puerto Rico, where she was supposed to spend a long weekend, but flights were cancelled. So, I'm like a friggin' circus seal right now - balancing on one flipper while spinning balls on my nose - trying to get everything done for everyone.
HAHA!
Crap. I forgot I offered my guestroom to a friend who is going to be in town for work. Totally forgot. (Although she said she'd confirm first!) She's arriving this evening. I guess I have to try to cut out early and get that organized. I have everything for Sochi all spread out across my guest room. Damn.
So basically we're all frantic last-minute packers. Hmmm.
Yeah, I'm excited. I wrote the role with him in mind, so to get to hear him read it is a gift!
My boss is due back from Dallas on a flight leaving there late afternoon. So far it's still showing "On Time". I'll believe that when I see it took off.

Girly, my son was supposed to go to Canada today. So far both the flights they booked him on have been canceled. Hopefully they'll fine someone to replace him there, so he won't go. Even if he gets a flight out he'll most likely be stranded trying to get back on Monday.
I hope your boss isn't talking about working from the office on Monday. With the weather reports I'm hearing, that would be foolish. But he sounds like a fool, anyway.

Deet, I'm usually a frantic last-minute packer. But, I've actually been laying everything out in my guest room because this is one destination where I know I won't be able to 'just get it there if I've forgotten to pack it'. I don't leave until Monday, so I have the entire weekend to finalize everything. But, I forgot about the houseguest... Time to pile stuff up in the corner of my room until she leaves.
brd, I am going because of work, and will be doing some work (client relations), as a spectator.
So many flights seem to be cancelled, which creates a backlog of stranded travelers.
I don't know what to expect for Monday. I fly out of Newark, and it's a charter flight, so the plane will be there - but wonder how much extra time I should leave to get to the airport. The friend I am bringing was going to meet me at my apt. on Monday morning to go to the airport with me, but now we're thinking she should come in on Sunday, just in case. Hopefully my other houseguest will be gone by then!
Although, the current weather forecast now shows Saturday and Sunday as snowy and Monday as clear.
Who the hell knows.
Good luck to your son, Boobs, and your boss, Girly!
Thanks, Addy. Extra prayers that Monday you can get out without any issues.
Girly, the jackass I'm sure will try to get me to work from MP.
SON OF ROBBIE J ROCKS!!!
That is all.
