I'll answer that one: he takes the bus. He and 935,783 other citizens of New Jersey.
My sister's school system had yet another snow day. I think the kids have been in school about 10 days so far this year!
I yearn for extra time at home, but she's climbing the walls.
This is just a mess. Imagine if it had been this weather yesterday?!?

We have had 4 "cold days" this year which is rare! We have snow coming for Tuesday and Wednesday!
Apparently, so do we, Brd. I'm completely prepared to arrive at school for my evening class to find they decided to close while I was on my way there.
I must say, I do love reading the school's Facebook page. Their spin doctors must HATE days like this: they can't delete all the negative comments fast enough -- and some of those kids have absolutely no filter when it comes to posting their thoughts about the administration and their policies.
Morning peeps! That's all I got this morning.

By the way, while I was driving in this morning, our local news station was interviewing (by phone) a correspondent in Sochi. Her "tales of the city" were pure comedy. Addy MUST send us daily reports - pictures, too!

Glad to see the sun this morning.
Billy Joel was incredible, fabulous, wonderful... pick your word. He was all that and then some. Still smiling.

did he remember you from December? Did he dedicate "Uptown Girl" to you?
Addy, glad you had a great time. He is wonderful. I saw him at the Garden years ago. One of the best!
I'm sick of what I read about Sochi last night. It seems they rounding up all the stray dogs and killing them. They actual have a service who does this. There was a picture of a stray and her puppy they rounded up. They put them in a coral until they can put them down. WTF? Their reason is it's for the safety of the athletes. What happens if a dog runs out as a skier is coming down a slope? SERIOUSLY???? How about this. Round them up and move them to another village or here's a thought....find them forever homes!!!!
I'd read that. Their real reason is to 'pretty' up the place for the visitors that will be pouring in. Bastards.

Unfortunately, there aren't forever homes for them. They should ship them to a country that doesn't have a pet overpopulation problem. Most wouldn't accept them, though. I have joked that my dream would be to buy a cruise ship and bring American unwanted dogs to Scandinavia. They are so big on breeder responsibility here that no one much wants the mutts, of which there are very few.
JG2, I'll help you with that voyage. <3

Joel is playing at Wrigley this summer, always great events!
BB and JG2 - that story is sickening. Russia is simply a screwed up country!

That sucks! Mrs. Brd has had a sinus infection for about a month and C15 is sniffling this morning. Hope you feel better!
A few sniffles on the left coast as well - which means I cannot see/help my mom for a bit until I am sure it is not a cold...
Back to work today after a day off yesterday to clean up/put away after the shin dig.
My sinuses have been crazy for the past couple of weeks now. I can't stand the constant sneezing. I can;t believe we have more snow coming tomorrow. Sunday into Monday sounds like a monster storm. Florida is looking much nicer every day.
Another Monday morning class with dorm students not bothering to cross the street but the dedicated Poughkeepiean trudging in...

brd that's great. There's something in the air here. Every time I walk outside I start sneezing.
