I love you, Tink.
Deet - ok, we'll blame it on the husband. My own husband said, "Wow - they're really organized! So's your cousin. They have no such expectations of us, right? I mean....they know you well, right?"
Husbands are so convenient.
Sad thing is I still have all the cards in a box somewhere in addressed envelopes. I was always just too lazy to go buy stamps lol. Then I just gave up. Though, next year I might send cards with the kitties on them to further my cat lady status.....
All four of them, Tink?

It's not the card that will further your status, Tink.
Just sayin'...
:) lol
Today is my friday and i have a huge 3 hour meeting today. blah. i want it to be over. I hope they are planning on ordering or taking me for good food at least.

Tomorrow is my Friday because it's.....well....Friday. Technically I have the next two weeks off, but we all know that's not going to happen.
My cards are usually done and mailed the first week of December. I just bought stamps the other night. Cards still not written out. I'm determined they will get mailed out tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll also have some writing on them by then, too.

ok note to self - the blank card I receive is from Girly....
*cowers in the fear of Mooney hate*.
Cards are all done.
All gifts bought.
Those that need to be mailed have been mailed.
Now I can ignore the rest of the season. (Work has been a mess lately, and my theme is "Ho Ho Ho, Fvck off".
I just did the card thing where I would normally do the cookie thing. No cookies makes the season much easier (as well as unfortunately having no husband or kids to buy for).
BTW - Happy Thursday Adults.
I would *love* to send out cards. I have tried in years past, and they end up sitting on a desk somewhere as I forget to mail them out. I need to be more diligent about that.

Same here, DD. I always have the best of intentions, but they never actually make it into the mailbox. The musical video I emailed out yesterday was y'all's holiday greeting.
I have two friends (gay, of course) who have found a way to have their holiday card in my mail box on Black Friday for the past thirty years. I'm a slacker.
No you're not, SoMMS. We got your card yesterday.
My cards will be late this year.
They'll go out. But they'll be late.
I usually love writing and sending my cards. This year, not so much.
But I'm going to send them!

Oh God, please don't. Another two arrived today. I can't take the guilt. Well, yes, I can. I just need chocolate.
There you go, Moony.
I finished my Christmas shopping today. I have no idea how I managed to be so organised.
Morning peeps! I am back from a day of digging a hole...it should be big enough now. Lights! Camera! ACTION!!!
It's okay if the hole is shallow. Just sayin'.
Good morning peeps and peepers.
I love that I got to be with you when you were digging that hole, Boobs. It means so much to me because you know that digging holes is something that I love to do.
The last time I dug a hole it was just perfect. It was the best hole ever dug.
I have pictures of it. I shared pictures of it with people who are experts about holes and they said that it was shaped perfectly.
It's wonderful that you are doing this, also.
Morning to all.

Morning.
"It's okay if the hole is shallow."
It may not get better than that for me today
oh, boobs.
Addy, it's a beautiful hole....a true work of art. I love that we made such a wonderful memory together. I'll always remember what you were wearing. Your red Boy from Oz sweatshirt with a pair of jeans. Those diamond studded earings were gorgeous with the sunlight playing off of them. You were so kind to my neighbor's kids with all of their questions. I'm glad we got to spend such a perfect day together in my yard digging the most perfect hole.

SOMMS - that is possibly the best post of the year.
I enjoyed the hole digging last night and decided to reward myself (because digging is hard, y'all) by sleeping in this morning. Too bad I forgot to tell my husband, the human alarm clock. No matter - a had Christmas cookies for breakfast!
