'Morning! Suddenly turned cold and windy here. You'd think it was winter or something.
I had travel plans for the holiday weekend, but I canceled them to give my body a few extra days of rest. I don't need a relapse.
Speaking of travel, isn't Deet taking off for LA this weekend?
and how long until the newest Framily pet arrives?
Morning.
My windows rattling woke me up.
There's a holiday weekend??

MLK jr birthday weekend
I woke up to getting rained on. I keep my bedroom windows open a bit since my apartment gets so warm. the rain and wind were so strong it was coming in and getting me while in bed.

At least it's not snow.
I did a quick google search for the holiday. LOL! Not celebrated by my company.
I WANT SNOW!

shush, you!
Last time we had that, I had the houseguest from hell.
Happy Friday peeps! I was so exicted to jump into my new wheels that I forgot my phone at home. Luckily I wasn't too far from home when I realized. Actually a van got in front of me going so slow and I thought to myself "I wish you could dial a license plate number and yell at the driver" That's when I realized. So thank you Mr. Van driver for driving like a jackass.
OMG...did the cellmate wake up on the wrong side of the bed today. She hasn't quit bitching about everything and anything since she got here. At least when I'm in a pissy mood, I pretty much keep to myself and am quiet. My fist just might find its way into her face. Very soon.

And all these years I thought you were practicing your mime exercises.
I think technically Deet will be in LA next weekend.
Happy Friday Adults. We do get Monday off, whoo hoo.
Holly Golightly: You know those days when you get the mean reds?
Paul Varjak: The mean reds, you mean like the blues?
Holly Golightly: No. The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?
Paul Varjak: Sure.
Holly Golightly: Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there.
Off to my version of Tiffany's in the morning. And technically, YWiW is right -- we'll be in LA on Monday after spending this weekend in Laguna Niguel.
And my mean reds have been so vicious the last couple of days I'm not even sure this trip will help.

Oh, Deet, I'm so sorry to hear that! Does it help that tomorrow is *cough* January 14th?

OH that changes ervything.
Deet, I know the feeling. *sings* "Grey skies are gonna clear up, put on a happy face..."
Mean reds are no fun. When you get back from the other coast, Deetie, let's plan to meet up in front of Tiffany's, with cup in hand, and spend a day just shopping and maybe ending up somewhere for a glass of something yummy.
In the meantime, my plans for the weekend pretty much include putting on an eye-mask, staying on my couch and just...
Happy weekend to all.

Just remember to take the eye mask off before leaving the couch. Household accidents can ruin a three day weekend.

Snow is predicted for Sunday/Monday here, of course everyone is acting like it's the end of the world. Silly people, that's not until Dec. 21.
Busy weekend: working on scripts tonight before going to weekend #2 of 14/48; tomorrow rehearsals all afternoon and regional production of Spring Awakening that's getting raves. Sunday more script work on the one-acts and doing some publicity for another theatre. I'm sure we'll fit in a glass of wine or six in there somewhere.
Dontcha just love a Sunday night when the next day is a holiday?
And, How 'Bout Those GIANTS??
And now, the Golden Globes with some of my favorite dreamy performers.
Cheers!
No holiday for me, and I imagine the morning commute will be fun. We have icy roads tonight, so getting off the hill we live on should be loads of fun.
Good morning. No holiday for me today, but I am working from home today.
LETS GO GIANTS!!!!!!! Very stressful but wonderful afternoon!
Yeah, no holiday here, either. The plus side of that was I slept in a half hour later, since I knew traffic would be much lighter.

Mornin' from Laguna Niguel.
Glad "The Descendants" and George Clooney won last night. We saw it yesterday afternoon and loved it.
Heading up to L.A. today; there will be framily events on Wednesday and Thursday. Really, really, really looking forward to them!
Ooh, The Descendants! A film that includes two of my favourite topics - Hawai'i and George. I must see it this week.
Just back from two weeks in Sydney. Our hotel was the main player hotel for the tennis. My goodness, they are building 'em big these days.
I feel very sorry for anyone working on the roads or playing tennis at the Open today. Hot, hotter, hottest and windy to boot. Not nice.
