Posted: 5/6/05 at 4:12pmI always wanted a diamond and sapphire tiara. Full crowns are just ostentatious, IMHO.

I agree Rath.. besides full crowns tend to get heavy and give you a headache.. I stick to tiara's personally..

Listen, Beauty Queens of Lie-nine, I'm talking teeth and the particular needs of the aging population.
(By the way, do you two have sashes?)

$27.50 isn't that expensive.

You have a pink sash, Rath? I'm way jealous.

#13re: crowns
Posted: 5/6/05 at 4:46pmOf course I have a sash Namo, several actually.. What fun would a tiara be without the sash..

Posted: 5/6/05 at 5:42pmI recently found out that my former dentist did something wrong with a crown (over a root canal), and it has shifted and it's causing some problems. SO I need a new crown... after insurance pays, it's still $1,000 out of pocket because my old dentist did it wrong. THAT on top of the fact that I DO need a root canal + crown. Sometimes I really hate dentists...

Posted: 5/6/05 at 6:06pmI wish I had a crown...I played Cinderella and I got to wear a crown, but it poked me in the head everynight.

Posted: 5/6/05 at 6:21pmI love crowns. They make me feel so pretty when I wear them.

Posted: 5/6/05 at 9:50pmWell, Rath............I dont get manicures, I dont wear designer clothing, I can screw in my own light bulbs without calling Daddy, I dont fake orgasms, and I can make more for dinner than just reservations. HOWEVER, I did have plastic surgery but it was at the age of 3. Would the last one count?
#21re: crowns
Posted: 5/6/05 at 9:52pmI'm still thinking about #4.

According to Yenta's criteria...
"Well, Rath............I dont get manicures, I dont wear designer clothing, I can screw in my own light bulbs without calling Daddy, I dont fake orgasms, and I can make more for dinner than just reservations."
Well, I don't get manicures, I do wear some designer clothes, I can change my own light bulbs, No comment on #4..and Dinner varies. My mother cooks. But passover was completely catered (but she made carrot soup. And asparagus).
I wonder where I fit in...I think I may have to come to the terms that I am indeed, a JAP in certain behaviors (and things acquired), but don't act like one.
As for crowns on the teeth...I need to get one put in. After I get my wisdom teeth removed...so it could be awhile.
Regarding crowns on the head...I would like one. Preferably the one above...I think it's kind of nice, don't you? Simple yet pretty.

Posted: 5/6/05 at 10:12pmShira...I think you are almost a Jap, but still have more to learn. Therefore I have decided that you are a JIT.....That is a Jap in training.

Posted: 5/6/05 at 10:14pmThanks Yenta...I'll take it as a compliment because while I wouldn't mind having the physical components of being a JAP, the attitude drives me nuts (Which is often what makes people Jappy). My high school was a training ground for the "Charge it to my Daddy's credit card" mentality.
