Did the loving, peaceful 'left' just assassinate Charlie Kirk?

It was extremely frustrating watching the left destroy themselves and get Trump elected after the movement was hijacked by far-left extremists. It felt like they had learned their lesson and Gavin Newsom has been making successful movements to bring it back to normality and the centre.

Now this? How can anyone associate with this barbarism. The democrats have now lost in 2028 and the movement deserves everything it gets now.

I’m for gun reform measures that likely would have kept the kind of weapon that killed him out of the hands of the of the person who killed him. That they’re not a reality already is a direct result of the kind of ideology Kirk espoused and parroted daily, as far as I’m concerned.

How dare you jump to the conclusion that someone on the left did this.  There's no suspect in custody.  There's no manifesto that's been uncovered.  Just the other day, that bastion of left-wing thinking, Laura Loomer, called Kirk a traitor to trump.  So who knows who's responsible.  

This is bad.  For the general well-being.  But please don't assume anything until there are facts out there.

This man was always reasonable and civilized, presenting the facts and supporting them with well substantiated arguments. He listened to his debating partner's points and reiterated them politely in every debate. No one could ever catch him being rude or untruthful.

His passion was engaging in debates to raise awareness. Apparently, there are people around who don't want such a civilized society. They believe you're allowed to do this if you don't like someone's perspective. If you think like that, you're 100% evil, like kdogg36 is, which he just proved. Charlie never wished violence on anyone.

Charlie was a hero. This will bring about a change in society. He addressed important topics, such as the slaughtering of Iryna Zarutska, and during his own shooting, he discussed gun violence and gang violence. His points were confirmed. The bullet always comes from the left or from people supported by the left.

People like the shooter and kdogg36 should be very careful and realize that in the end, they will be the victims of their own radical mind.

The mainstream media is also responsible for the radicalization of the left, by not covering facts at all. Many of them did not even report about the slaughtering of Iryna Zarutska at all because it didn't fit their narrative and their leftist brainwashing strategy. Thankfully we could find out about the facts on X. If a white man had slaughtered a black girl on a train, people like Kdogg36 would riot for 7 months and the msm would have a dayjob reporting it. Or they deliberately twist facts, such as about Israel neutralizing the terrorists in Qatar, which the msm brings as an attack on innocent people. The left needs to stay brainwashed.

Maybe it's because of your worldview and the leftist aggression/way of thinking that you interpret it that way, but it is not at all a threat. Quite the contrary.

They will be the victims of their own radical mind, because they either end up in jail, like the shooter probably will, they go down in history as being on the wrong side of history for supporting violence, or they will be oppressed by the groups they are protecting now, which takes away their own freedom and rights. And they push the political votes into the opposite direction of what they claim they want.

If there is an ounce of love or peace within you, you condemn this attack and anyone on here who says they don't care about people being slaughtered because of their opinion.

The problem is that social media has caused people to live in two completely different worlds that are only reinforcing their own belief system. The one that ‘the left’ have created have made trump into a fascist dictator who is literally Hitler, and once you do that it’s very easy to morally justify any and all hatred towards every individual who voted for this, any politician that was elected and apparently even people who host debates. Violence is considered necessary and good because the moral transgressions are so high. It’s almost literally war. But what people can’t see is that this is the most extreme take with the worst faith explanations always applied (and yes even misinformation). And there are no correctional mechanisms for this kind of extreme thinking to calm down because it keeps being reinforced and all information sources are so ideological and unbalanced. It’s getting to the level where it’s becoming so extreme that the hatred is resembling conflicts such as the Israel/palestine issue.

Binau, you know I enjoy your posts, but this is a terrible thing to post. You sound like a Right winger. How about we wait until we know who the assassin is? Like I just saw someone post "I don't think someone who can hit a target from 200 feet away was attended DSA meetings."

Anyway, this is horrible, but notice how every elected Dem is condemning this, while Republicans either shrugged or outright celebrated the assassination of the two Minnesota Democrats a few months ago and the attack on Paul Pelosi. All political violence is wrong, but there is a big assymtry going on here.

At this point, if it turns out the shooter had ideological left motivations I simply can no longer identity with ‘the left’ anymore and I don’t care if that makes me a right winger and I don’t care what people think of me as a result. I can just can no longer associate with this movement. It isn’t the same movement I remember from the Obama glory years, or the great work Bernie Sanders did in 2016. It would be the nail in the coffin to me. 

I accept we need to find out who did this but i can’t imagine it being too surprising what the motivations were given who the target was and how clearly an assassination it was if you watch the video of him being shot, which I have.

It’s particularly shocking to me because this guy just had debates on college campuses basically. At least if it was Trump I could at least understand. This guy is just a young person with a family having debates on college campuses. None of this is normal and ok.  The right is taking over everywhere - the US, UK, all across Europe. If we need this to happen to stop this radical extremism then so be it.
