The decision making process was far more complicated than whether RFK Jr. was a concern or not. You make things so absurdly simple, when they are not.

The Democrats did not allow voters to have a say in who would be the Democrat nominee, yet they presented themselves to be the gate keepers of Democracy. They went after Trump legally, which the mere appearance of political/judicial impropriety should have been sufficient not to proceed in indicting a Presidential opponent. YOUR party was destroying Democracy, more so than mine. Our Democracy survived Jan. 6th, but it may well not have had your party been successful in imprisoning the Republican Presidential candidate.

Democrats presented Biden as fully capable and then threw him under the buss when he fell down in the polls and demonstrated so viscerally to us all that the Democrat machine was lying to the entire country - and then presented to us Harris as someone so perfect and competent. He lost it, and she never had it. They proved it repeatedly. "nuh uh, you're a sexist and a racist" isn't a valid counter. And neither is "Trump is Hitler".

Trump's first 3 years, despite all your crap thrown at him, were better, much better, than Biden's/Harris' first 3. You failed to make a case for your side. Your only effective argument was that Trump is a horrible person. And the Democrat machine couldn't even argue that with any competence. If you have to exaggerate and lie, then you don't have much of any argument at all. Yes, Trump and Republicans do this too. But our side did not attempt to bury your candidate(s) by putting them in prison or claiming they were another Hitler.

You all can't help yourselves in the over-the-top attacks on Trump and the attacks on people who voted for him. That I, like so many, used my vote to push back against such crap as "Trump supporters should have a bullet in their skulls" is NOT a surprise. Wake up!

We promote divisiveness? I mean, really. The GOP candidate could not even concede the last election. He didn’t even have the traditional “handover of power” meeting in the Oval Office, or attend Biden’s inauguration. This is in stark contrast to the images we saw yesterday, of Biden sitting next to Trump with an outstretched hand ready to shake.

Anyway, I blame the two -party system. It’s broken and not serving the people. If Trump wants to “shake things up”, please encourage him to start there. I don’t know how he’d do it, but to get a true overhaul as you so desire this must be a requirement.

Jay, that is borderline pathetic. Maybe if Biden/Kamala would have done a better job in 4 years she would not have lost. Maybe if President Biden did not call Trump supporters and almost half the country "garbage", she might not have lost. Maybe with all polls before election telling everyone voters thought country was heading in the wrong direction, Kamala should not have said she could not think of anything she would change that Biden did as POTUS. Maybe if Kamala understood people don't give a damn about Beyonce or Oprah showing up at a rally when they are trying hard to pay the bills.

Problem with you Jay is that you are actually trying to blame individual people because they had the "nerve" not to agree with you and your friends politically. How dare they do not go into the voting booth and do what you and others expect them to do like good little boys and girls following orders. I am sure you would be thrilled with one party rule as long as it is your side. The Supreme Court was fine for decades when it leaned left, the minute it changed and went right, all of a sudden people like you thought the Supreme Court had to be packed. Trump wins popular vote and notice no outcry about the electoral college being unfair.

I suppose it is a bit hypocritical of me to complain about the two-party system and then complain about somebody opting for third party… but… Donald Trump! This is a time of emergency. We should be pragmatic, vote strategically. Least worst viable candidate.

Hopefully one day things will improve.

Not to mention that Merrick Garland was already a compromise centrist candidate whom the GOP had previously heralded!

That’s what this is. That’s what Trumpers voted for. The only “crime” the vast majority of these immigrants are guilty of is not being Anglo-speaking whites.

It now appears that Trump will end up with less than 50% of the popular vote, and less than a 1.7% lead over Harris. This isn't a huge, transformational shift, and mostly came about because too many Harris-leaning voters stayed home. It's a smaller popular vote lead than Bush in 2004, Obama in 2008, Obama in 2012, Clinton in 2016, and Biden in 2020.

Will Trump and his garbage supporters continue to boast of a "landslide" and a "historic victory" despite the fact that it's really a razor-thin margin, and that in fact most people voted against him? (It's rhetorical. They're garbage; of course they don't care about the truth.)

Politico is reporting Trump will name Dr. Ladapo of Florida to a senior spot, likely Surgeon General or Assistant HHS. This would be a horrifying pick for trans people. He's responsible for Florida's adult trans ban, and works with SEGM/Anti-trans global movement. He's also an ardent anti-vaxxer.

Your obsession with identity groups is sad IMO. If I were you, I would be touting the person as an individual and their political beliefs not their identity group. It is also my belief that people like you Jay are hypocrites. If this transgender representative was somebody like Caitlin Jenner, you would not be mentioning it. Like I said to you in another post, liberals want so much for there to be a woman POTUS, but I am sure if that woman was a Republican, you and the media would downplay it -lol. Congratulations to that person for getting elected to Congress, I applaud their individual achievement and don't really care about your identity group.
